this is an amazing game

this is also literally the worst case scenario for playability, not even optimization on pc

I have an i9 and a 3090

the game does not drop frames so much as it just hangs for 3 seconds and then fast forwards to catch up, this happens every 10 minutes or so

I tried disabling the root enumerator thing, I tried lowering the graphics settings, doesnt matter, game is now crashing at load, its absurd, wait for patches

Game is great, only played a bit but super enjoying it. Thankfully the issues with getting it to run were ironed out after about a month. Which was actually fine because I picked up a ton of great games near years end.

It's probably a great game, I have no idea. There was supposed to be controller support. When I pre-ordered the steam page even said, partial controller support. I thought hey try the mouse, diablo is good on a mouse it will work right? Wrong, it's awful with a mouse, ungodly terrible. So I thought ok, other people were mad about the controller thing, so they didn't buy it, and now it's coming to consoles, surely they will just port the controller support back to the pc right? RIGHT? What the actual @#%$$#%. Still no controller support. Buy it if you hate yourself. Buy it if you love Donald Trump. Buy it if you'd like to bite your thumb at me, but do not buy it expecting to play it like the previous xcom game, with a controller, like god intended. Maybe buy it on console when it's cheap. The devs are even dickish about the possibility of adding controller support to the pc version. 1/2165896846546313
