If you like horror games, then this game is for you.

If you like improv comedy, then this game is *definitely* for you.

Rage-inducing, incredibly fun, and absolutely silly and scary in the best ways.

Tons of licensed horror characters you know and love (to hate), as well as many original ones that you will come to love, like Huntress, Spirit, and Wraith!

Already own this game, but don't want to plop down money for the Texas Chainsaw one? Leatherface is here too!

Same deal with Evil Dead, you got Ashy boy right here!

Play, kill, survive, enjoy!

Death Is Not An Escape.

But Alt+F4 is.

See you in the sequel....

It's the best mining and tower defense game starring dwarves that's out there. What else could you possibly want?

This game is the reason my insomnia isn't getting treated properly.

Starbound should technically be classified as a 2D Action/Adventure/RPG/Simulation/Casual game, because it has elements of each of these, and it executes them brilliantly.

- The Action comes in through the sidescrolling, sword-swinging, monster-hunting elements, which do get a little old after a while, but once you get a gun or laser rifle, it all picks up tremendously. The choice of weapons increases as you gain more materials to make them with, or locate them in chests, which are scattered randomly across each planet.

- The Adventure is introduced through the procedurally-generated planets, of which there are a near-infinite number thanks to a 32-digit seed for each planet, each one different from the last. You can explore multiple biomes and sub-biomes, and even discover entire civilizations which will either like you, be cautious of you, or kill you on sight. The races are uniquely-textured and have deep lore for each of them, which is the biggest draw in this category.

- The RPG happens through the starship and weapons/armor upgrades, which are available through crafting stations, which are crafted with things you find in the world. In order to move on to the next tier, you must defeat a boss, which is summoned through certain crafting items. It also has a story behind each race, but leaves your individual character up for your interpretation, which I really appreciate.

- The Simulation is a small part of the game, but still fun. You collect or create materials and blocks to build your own home out of, both background and foreground. Multiple things are available to build with, including wood, stone, iron, steel, titanium, moonstone, even meteorite rock! You can even set traps for enemies or put up defense drones. Plus, you can spawn others of your race using a crafted item, so you can make your own little village!

- The Casual part is the best part, in my opinion: MODS. Starbound is 100% completely moddable, and you can make literally anything. You can make your ship customizable and build it yourself, you can add in new weapons and armor, you can even visit new biomes with new enemies and new liquids! There's no limit to what can be done. And the best part is that it's really easy to do! I'm a total idiot, and even I managed to mod this game!

I would recommend this game to absolutely anyone who enjoys a 2D space adventure with various elements to it. There's something here for everyone to enjoy. Plus, for 15 bucks, you can get just as much enjoyment out of it as an MMO subscription if you enjoy adding mods.

9/10, my only complaint is that the music could use some work, but otherwise a perfect game.
