OK, I'm totally rewriting this review from the retrospective angle to try to give a better idea of the game.

Unfortunately, Undertale has become infected with a fnaf-like fanbase that praises it like God. Of course, no game will ever live up to that kind of hype.

Ok on to my opinion:
+ Unique combat style - pacifism uses solving (fairly simple) logic puzzles while attacking enemies has a kind of timing game which involves trying to hit a green zone with strips that move across the stream. Receiving an attack causes you to enter a bullet hell-style minigame, which has multiple mechanics added throughout the game.

+ Superb character development - all the characters look kind of simple on the surface because their traits are vastly exaggerated, but they do have deeper personalities and relations when inspected.

+ Great music (though the soundtrack, if bought separately, can be a little expensive)

+ Great moral choice system - characters look like they act realistically instead of arbitrarily, and the two extremes of the game lead to entirely different endings. This system can result in getting attached to the characters, and if your tears are easily jerked, then be wary.

+ Secrets. And theories.

~ Mediocre art - it has its own style of rather simplistic and clean pixel art, although it does look a bit bad at some parts. The battle sprites, character portraits and shop screens all look pretty nice, though. (Personally, I like the art, but I can see why a lot of people dislike it)

~ 'Learning curve' - if you play this game as a standard RPG, you may find it boring, unless you take the challenge proposed in the trailer of sparing the monsters. (Killing a boss removes that character from the game, and you can befriend most of- if not all of the bosses in the game)

~ Game length feels a little short, but not a huge issue. (~7 hours, up to ~25 for an average player if going through every main ending)

~ Recent patch added more colourblind-friendly blues (which seems like it should have been there already)

- The majority of endings are minor variations. There are 3 main endings and 5 semi-main endings, but aside from these, most of the endings are variations on the same one

I still recommend this game, despite my hyped-ness in my original review. It still deserves the money in my opinion.

This is, quite frankly a pretty bad place to play MTG, but at least it's free.

This is a genuine review (I hate the cancer reviews on this game).

Anyway, this game has barebones minimum optimisation. While the video settings are detailed (including an FOV slider capped at 90), the game runs like ♥♥♥♥ and after looking online, there seem to be no solutions and a lot of other people report ♥♥♥♥ running games.

Apparently, the game will be optimised between now and release but right now it's too crappy to play. Paired with awful default mouse acceleration, sensitivity and filtering, the fact that there is horrific mouse input lag if you're lagging at all (25 fps or below) makes the game near unplayable without a gamepad.

With a gamepad (when the FPS isn't too bad), the game runs fine and you can get a few kills or whatever. Levelling felt slow in part due to the impossibility of getting a positive K/D, stopping weapon progression needed to get some actual weapon upgrades, which just stacks up to make the "rich" get richer and the poor get poorer.

In its current state I can't reccomend the game as without good enough specs, you will NOT have a good time (unless you enjoy being unable to run the game on its lowest settings).

The graphics options didn't seem to have much of a performance hit though, which was an upside.

On its surface, Geometry dash looks like a shameless impossible game ripoff, however, with a level builder able to construct very hard levels, as well as easy ones, with an integrated ability to share your level.
There are also more mechanics than one would find in the impossible game, such as parts where you fly around in a kind of jet, or one where you basically play flappy bird but fun.
There are also hidden collectibles (coins), and after collecting 20, and 30 coins you will unlock new, insanely hard levels.
Additionally, assuming the PC version will go the same way as the mobile version, there will be regular updates, bringing new levels.
Finally, there is a practice mode incase you are messing up on one part of the level or can't find a coin on a level.
This review isn't to say that it's a perfect game, because quite simply it's not. A lot of people won't like it simply because of its genre, and admittedly, as a mobile port it does have some major UI issues (it's probably what keeps this from going onto my favourites list, hopefully the developer fixes up the PC version and gets some proper UI).
Overall, however, this is an extremely enjoyable game brought down by its UI problems, and not everyone will enjoy this genre.
TL;DR:
Pros:
- Fun game, rewarding and challenging.
- Level editor with built in sharing.
- Plenty of levels, with updates bringing more.
- Collectibles, which unlock new, hard levels.
- Practice mode.

Cons:
- Major UI issues - may bring the game too low to buy outside of a sale.
- Semi-niche genre, you may hate the game because of it.

Great game. a huge range of items and pickups, with pleny of "final" bosses, and nearly 200 secrets, which change and develop the game as you continue to play!
