Shadow of the Erdtree is everything Elden Ring should be: a dense, interconnected, beautiful world with as many entrancing boss fights as tense open world encounters and small moments of serenity. A dlc like this deserves a patient player ready to get knocked around a little bit as they learn the flow of fights, and a curious player interested in taking the time to explore and immerse themselves in the new continent. Peak experience.

Edit: IDK how steam displays edits n stuff but the above was written when I had eight hours in the game. This is one of the best games I've ever played. It's fully immersive with beautiful graphics and well designed combat. Exploration is consistently fun, interesting and rewarding, and I've gone for 100% completion multiple times while discovering the new game plus exclusive content. I bought this on sale but I would absolutely pay full price; the devs deserve the world.
