For a new player it's unwelcoming, it's F2P but it's pay to have fun.

Early Access Review
I get why people like this game but honestly I still prefer BF. It just gets boring after a while. People say graphics don't matter much which I agree with but it's just bland. On the other hand, I love the gun balance and I have fun playing whatever role. The voice chat is the best part about this game. It's only $21, just try it out. It gets the basics right, just lacks a bit more and feels a bit too basic.
