After playing a couple hours i have to say this is exactly what i wanted. It feels just like DD1 but better, From the enhanced graphics, systems and combat it just feel great to play. I manage to sit at around 90fps while running on high with a 2080ti and i9 9900k, Which is more then enough for me. I understand i am an outlier and there are a lot of people that are having optimisation issues and are frustrated with the release state of the game which i fully understand. I also understand that having Micro transactions as minimal as they are in a single player game is rather stupid on capcoms behalf and just shows how greedy they are. However this is nothing new to Capcom, just look at RE4, DMC and MH. All of those games involve MTX of similar levels. Overall i would recommend the game if your a fan of the first but if you are unsure i would wait for some optimisation patches or at least a slight discount to come in.
