There are many bugs which are a part of this game right now but that should be expected for an early access game. It is also not really optimized (PvP in particular) and requires some of the higher end graphics cards in order to play at the settings that are shown in the trailers.

That all being said though I think this is a fantastic game where you can easily find yourself immersed into the world. It is very easy to spend long periods of time playing the game without noticing which is why I have accumulated so many hours in this game since it came out. The Devs at Wildcard are a rather hard working group, pushing out new content and optimization patches on a fast paced regular schedule. I feel as though my $30 spent on release date has been money well spent since it has been a fun and exciting game and only seems to get better with each patch.

Notes: For the best experience I suggest finding a lower populated unofficial server where you and the admin get along. This may seem like a minor thing but it makes a world of a difference. Modified game characteristics like 2x taming will also make the game less of a grind; though you should use them in moderation.

This game is just beautiful in almost every way. The game mechanics are very unique bringing a new concept to first person shooters. The graphics are overwhelming leaving you in awe and submersing you into the world they have created. While many other games deliver well on these first two points they fall way short of this series's dark disturbing but also heart warming story line filled with twists. The storyline is integrated through audiologs which you can either choose to look for and listen to or ignore if you just wish to proceed through the game. I recommend this to everyone.
