I´ve played 100 days in this game and just finished the main story. I was even contemplating to get all achievements but I won´t and here´s why:
- there are maybe 10 aspects in this game which are actually unique
- of these aspects maybe 3 are fun (the fighting, the dice game and caring for your cult to an extend)
- a lot of times it´s repeating the same 5 things to advance in the game
- without the arbitrary hurdles to advance the actual game would be maybe 2 hours long depending on your skill
- you can´t leave your cult alone for 1 minute which prevents from playing the actual game instead of babysitting everyone.
- a lot of mechanics get introduced way too late in the game, like for example the sin mechanic. You need way too much to unlock everything and it takes way too long to get the necessary amount.
- there are many bugs which feel so frustrating. One time 2 of my cult members were drunk and shortly before they sobered up and I went to bed they started fighting. So I woke up and one of them died. Or for example half my cult just get stuck on the spot while trying to head to their beds. You have to talk to everyone to unfreeze them so they don´t get to be tired the next day.
- way too many actions have the same button mapped. I butchered way to many dead members because I missclicked or used my cursed instead of selling the old one.
- why is the "y" button used twice on the rhythm game?
- fishing feels useless because the amount of time you need to fish every available fish that day takes too long and the reward is compared to other methods too little
- the game feels in almost every part too easy and when you get damaged it feels undeserved (for example the mob just spawned in or you can´t see the attack because the environment obstructed the view)
- on the topic of difficulty: how should I know at the start of the game what difficulty level I should pick? yes you can change it later on but I gain nothing from it so for what reason should I put it anything higher than normal? And if you want a challenge, the more reasonable modes only get unlocked after clearing the main story and even for that you have to start a new save
- caring for your cult feels like work after some time. Had a chain reaction once because I had 3 newborns who ♥♥♥♥ everywhere which made my other members throw up

tl;dr - the game is a min-max simulator, still has a lot of frustrating bugs, way too many repeating parts and important mechanics come in way too late
The game wants to be way too many things at once. To juggle everything at the same time hinders the fun. Save to say I still could find some enjoyment but because of the things listed above it´s sad to see what the game could´ve been...

I´ve been playing this game for 2 years and loved to play it with my friends because it was challenging and sometimes there are many funny things that could happen. Besides the game the ESL matches are fun to watch and editing of frags can get extremly awesome. But since the R8 update and the new Rankingsystem this game got worse than ever. Also from the Wintersale came many smurfers and hackers to cs and ruining the game. It´s sad to see such a good game getting so bad.
I was once global and played also professional in tournaments but now I´m legendary eagle. But not only that changed in the years while playing his game - Skins are in general a good idea but the key price are rising so many times.
I will take a break from this game and hope to see an improvement to the game so i can play it again without raging everytime.
