Both Ukrainians and Russians have this thing where they hate themselves and their country and their life so much and to cope with this they must inflict that pain and misery on everyone else they see and come into contact with. This is something I've come to realize after years of being in game lobbies with 'em and even neighboring them you could say. I guess this game in particular is honestly another example of bottled up Ukrainian dev rage or something cause I have no other explanation for why you would conjure up a gameplay as abominable as this. Everything except the aesthetic hurts about playing this.
