This game is a lot of fun and the customization is incredible. It is simple and to the point. There is no complex nonsense. The biggest issue by far is ship control. Ships in this game have a weird tendency to rotate sideways for no real reason. The vast majority of your weapons can be facing forward but your ship will turn sideways in combat. It is so incredibly frustrating because there is no way to set your ship orientation in combat other than trying to manually rotate your ship, which is so tedious it hurts. The devs need to add an auto orientation system that lets you set the orientation.

There is a woman in my radio and she does not call me studmuffin. This is a walking simulator that is carried 100% by its narrative attributes. The "gameplay" will not captivate you at all (there really isnt much game play at all). Its narrative however is surprisingly compelling for such a relatively low stakes situation. If you are looking for a game to just kill time on and just chill while going through a story then this is a pretty good option.

This DLC is a great example of what DLC should be. It is practically a second game. One of the greatest parts of this DLC is that the country actually feels unique. The culture of this country is different from the base game and thus the choices are different and they feel believable. The only complaint I have is that the ending feels a bit sudden/rushed with the game kind of forcing the final issue on you. Even so the signs of the end game problems are there throughout the story and the story still feels amazing to play. If you like the base game as much as I do then this DLC is a must buy.

Firstly it must be made clear that this is NOT a political simulation game. Rather this is more of a chose your own adventure visual novel.

You take "control" as president of a poor(ish) country struggling to overcome the history of a long serving president(possible dictator). You make choices that you may believe are right but are ultimately wrong. What many of the negative comments seem to fail to understand is that in real life you dont know what the results of your decisions will be. Many seem to think the game should function similar to a Paradox game like HOI4, EU4, Stallaris, etc. where every decision hand feeds you the stat changes. In this game you set a goal for yourself and try and achieve those goals as best as you can. The game does seem to rail road you a little bit in terms of direction and whether or not you can win reelection but this actually adds to the world as trying to make a country a left wing paradise despite being controlled by a conservative ruling class is extremely difficult and very unlikely. That being said your choices can totally change the events in the game as there are events that I never experienced due to my decisions preventing them from coming up.

If you like political intrigue, hard choices, and a character driven story, and a flushed out world then I cannot recommend this game enough

This game is a fantastic TPS that lets you live out your fantasy of slaughtering your enemies for mankind. Unlike Hell Divers the game is based around linear missions that include Hell Diver like mass enemy assaults and mass slaughter. The gameplay is easy to learn and lots of fun. Negative reviews are posted by Xenos filth and traitors. The inquisition is working on purifying the reviews so that the will of the Emperor is maintained.

Ignore the negative reviews complaining about nerfs and balance. This game is one of the few games were "git gud" is a legitimate response to complaints like this. There are multiple different difficulties for all walks of life. Find the difficulty that works for you and just have fun. Dont try and meta game it, just enjoy it. This game can get a little repetitive but its well worth the price for what you get prior to that point. You wont regret your purchase.

This game was a major part of why I enjoy open world, creative, and sci-fi games. Its simple and lots of fun. Its childish but that just adds to its charm.

The first parts of the game are far more developed than the latter stages but the later stages are still fun and allow for large amounts of creativity for such an old game.

It really is a shame there was never a second game. I would buy a Spore 2 in a heartbeat without any hesitation whatsoever.

This game is incredible. It is simple and peaceful. There is no stress, just "vibes." If you have ever watched Blade Runner and been in amazement at the cool city lights at night in the rain, this is the game for you. You build those cities without any stress to you. There is no resource management, petty game play mechanics made to artificially make the game harder, or anything else meant to make this game a challenge. It is about you chilling out and making cool looking near future-cyberpunk/blade runner like cities and thats it. While some may see its lack of any kind of in depth mechanics as a bad thing, if you are looking for something cool to look at and tinker with, this is the game for you without a doubt.

This game is an amazing story driven RTS. It follows the early days of the resistance against "Legion" (skynet). Many reviews talk about the difficult but I believe they are playing the game incorrectly. This is not a RTS where you just spam units and meta game the missions. The game is meant to provide "realistic" combat. If you dont make sure your troops are in cover then of course the game is going to be hard. If you just throw troops at the enemy and hope for the best then of course it is hard. You have to use the buildings, the land, your equipment, and your wits to win. Control the important parts of the map and ou wont get flanked. Raid into enemy territory to crush enemy arty and then pull back. Different tactics are needed for different missions. Do not be put off by the reviews talking about difficulty, it isnt that bad (for people saying "its hard when you play on hard" what did you expect? ITS HARD DIFFICULTY OF COURSE IT IS GOING TO BE HARD)

If you are looking for a solid story driven RTS then you cannot go wrong with this (the minor RPG elements are a very nice touch)

The game's combat is completely and irredeemably broken. By far the worst combat mechanics of any game I have ever played. People like to pass the horrendous combat mechanics of this game as "yOu JuSt NeEd To GiT gUd" and pass off the ridiculous combat mechanics off as just a skill issue, thus ignoring the fundamental flaws of the mechanics. All "git gud" responses to combat criticisms boil down to "here is how you cheese the game to win". If you have to cheese the game mechanics in order to even have a shot at winning then the mechanics are bad.

Unless you want to be endlessly frustrated with bad fighting mechanics then give this game a pass.
