Though it may look like a joke at first, Super 3D Noah's Ark is a solid FPS. Built on the Wolfenstein 3D engine, gameplay is nearly identical, with some minor differences. Instead of guns, you have slingshots, instead of bullets you have animal feed, and instead of Nazis, you have Goats, Lambs, Gazelles and other such animals. There's no violence - The animals are merely put to sleep instead of being harmed.

Despite the cutesy, child friendly Christian imagery, the game is still quite difficult. Much like Wolfenstein 3D, you're very fragile, and it only takes a few shots to end your game. Health and Ammo can be scarce on some maps, leading to tense, nail-biting action as you plow through hoards of grumpy livestock with an ever dwindling supply of feed. Despite having a Lives system, the game removes all your weapons if you die, which sucks. You might as well load a quicksave at that point.

Finally, this isn't a crappy DOSBox emulation, it's running in the ECWolf source port, allowing for high resolution displays, automaps and other nice, quality of life improvements. Much better than the clunky DOSBox presets that come with some of the other classic FPS on Steam.

If you're at all a fan of old, retro FPS games, S3DNA is worth a look. The Wolfenstein engine is primitive compared to some of the other classics, but it's still very playable and surprisingly fun.
