After everything thats happened over the last few days... there isn't really much to be said without repeating what everyone else is saying. The devs really screwed the pooch on this one.

At one point i would of recommended VRC, but now? i cant in good faith recommend this to anyone. I've forged alot of friendships and memories with many folks around the world. Its helped me discover things about myself and open up and be more sociable over the last year and a half, so its hard to see such a platform make such a move in the way it did.

but in the end, new alternatives will rise up and take its place, or at the very least, be a usable alternative that listens to its community and tries to apply changes and improvements in a timely manner. oh wait, there is one..... ChilloutVR. lol

$3.99 for some skins and stylized parts that dont affect gameplay.

As someone who loves to get creative in SE, im always down for more decorations and style. and to get that for less than $5, its a great deal! All the functional blocks are FREE as part of the update. The Hinges are amazing aswell!

So, overall, if you want some new stylized parts that are only visually different from the vanilla counterparts, all for under $5. Then grab it. If not? Dont. no one is forcing you to buy them.

Everyone is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about more DLC, but its literally cheaper than the ♥♥♥♥ you can buy at Starbucks, and its only cosmetic. ONTOP of that, you can join friends who have the DLC even if you dont. People are complaining about nothing.

While i wish they would do more for bugfixes and the likes, I will admit that there DLC approach could be alot worse. They could be charging $7.99 for skins like most other games, and make it to where you cant play with others that own them.

Several years in, 2300 Hours later and I still love this game, Its a must have Military Sandbox game. while most would enjoy game modes such as Life or Wasteland (I Personally could care less for them, not my style). ArmA 3 really shines when you run with a Mil-sim group. Doesn't matter if its a milsim group as hard core as some insert number and division name here or laid back bunch of guys running Cooperative military scenarios. Its just an amazing experience.

Performance is great, with the recent 64bit drop, performance got even better! Performance still mainly depends on the server and amount of mods though. Speaking of mods, the modding community in ArmA 3 is also equally amazing. Mods like RHS and ACE are game changers.

Another major perk is the DLC, nearly all the DLC can be used to limited extent in game if you don't own it. (you will get spammed by watermarks) I love the way its implemented, no fracturing of the community. Like that DLC DMR? Use it! some dude flew in on a DLC Transport Chopper? Get in the back for a lift! (cant get in crew slots though)

I also recommend you check these two guys out on youtube. Some Grade A-rmA 3 Youtubers right here. curious about how arma handles and plays from a sim perspective or just Tips and Tricks? these two most likely have a video on it!

A Fun game for those that have a nack for building things. Space Engineers may have some drawbacks but After 1000+Hours I still comeback to it to build and destroy ships and test ideas that popped up in my head. With such an extensive Modding community this game is fun, more so if you can get with a group of friends and play togeather (depending if you can suppport it and how far away eachother is, Multiplayer is IFFY but FAR Better than it used to be!)

(Updated Review)

The damn best Simulator out there on the Civilian Market. If you want something fairly simple and striaght forward this is NOT for you. but if you want something in depth and rewarding to master? why are you still reading this? go download it now!

I Highly, HIGHLY Recomend you get the non-steam version though. Its just better, Updatesget rolled out sooner along with modules and such. Its just such a rewarding Sim. The aircraft are modeled in depth to amazing levels that you can get hours and housr of learning to master a single aircraft and, man, is it rewarding in the end. I own a fairly decent chunk of the modules, and for the accumulated pricetag and the They were well worth it. some I've barely begun to master. The best part, you DONT NEED to spend a dime to get into the game. the Core Game itself is FREE, and right now the SU25-T Frogfoot is still a capable aircraft and, until the F18, is pretty much the ONLY platform that can carry anti-radiation missiles for Radar and such.

My steam gametime is nowhere nere accurate, well becuase I ditched the steam version. and again, I HIGHLY Encourage you to get the one from the website.

If you were going to spend money on any single Module. I would HIGHLY Recomend the A10C. I mean, its the damn A10 for crying out loud if you can master that aircraft and enjoy it then everything else will be great.

Looks can be decieving. If you got the cash to fork out at this game then go for it, otherwise stear clear.

as DerBär put it, very well indeed, its a money grabber. i would love a game like this that i could play with friends without forking over a dime but sadly this seems to be the only one of its kind.

Im suprised this isnt made by EA.
