Ten years and 3000 hours ago, I used to think this game was great.

It's not anymore.

But that would be okay, if it was still playable without bots crawling over Casual.

If you're really interested, hop on a community server. There are plenty of people to help you get started. But I cannot in good faith recommend people get into this game as it currently is.

Valve, I'll keep this short. It has been four years, I'm past excuses or being nice. Get your heads out of your asses and clean up this mess.
