I'm 45. My first real FPS was Wolfenstein 3D...and I have/had a problem. I simply cannot enjoy modern FPS because they are full of bullet sponge enemies and weird physics and open world levels that confuse or bore me. I also tend to dislike a lot of the so-called "boomer shooters" because their graphics suck. Well, aside from Amid Evil, there hasn't been much that met all of my requirements for a good retro FPS. That is, until Prodeus.

Wow, what an amazing FPS. Fast action, crap tons of gore, loud weapons, big explosions...it's what I wished the DOOM reboot and Eternal were. There's no stamina or restrictive ammo counts or bullet sponge enemies or (annoying) platforming. It's a gorgeous retro shooter that gives you the same fun as original DOOM but with some of the best visual design I've ever seen in an FPS. I highly recommend it.
