I can't recommend this game tbh, such a high learning curve just to feel bad at the game even once you pass that. The players of this game are super dedicated. Once you master all the PvE and bosses you'll realize that there are people who are PvP gods that will send you back to lobby just for maybe a ring and some health pots off your body. They get the thrill knowing you're back in lobby even if they didn't even care for your loot. Only way to combat this is for you to run equally competitive kits and still get rolled by a landmine or one mistake but hey this time they might like the pants or shoes you were wearing enough to pick up. I'm at the point of being unsure if I even want to keep playing this game. The game can feel really satisfying but also horribly punishing. "An unforgiving... PvPvE adventure" you'll wish the PvE was the hard part once you get over the learning curve of it. Just to realize you have to learn all the classes and possible build's as well as play-styles to have a chance in the PvP category.
This comes from a primarily solo player, I will say that playing with a trio of similar skill level is way more fun and has way more to offer in the PvP department and also diminishes how punishing a mistake can be as you have teammates to cover for you. Another main gripe I have is how long it feels to reset, if I die now I have to sit down and open trade chat to build another kit and organize the same potions in the same slots how I had as well. Once all that is done I hopefully made it to the map I want to queue in... since for AP farming they are certainly not all created equal. AP is this great thing you accumulate in High Roller that you must get to avoid FOMO from potentially meta skins. Such as the nightmare skeleton skin.
