despite all the hate because it isn't overwatch 1, the game just keeps improving and they're not afraid to make big changes if they will result in a better game.

I came for the roguelite deck builder, stayed for the weirdness. It's a lot more than it seems.

I got bored before I even managed to get through an entire run. It's clearly *very* inspired by darkest dungeon but it does nothing to capture it's atmosphere, tension and urgency.

The game constantly freezes between turns forcing you to reload autosave and redo your entire turn. There's a thread with 50 pages on the main page of the forum about this and it hasn't gotten fixed.

The game is fun when it's playable though.

it's an idle game pretending to be a "roguelike"

Like a cross between slay the spire and dark souls with a soft arturian backdrop and kickass music

Early Access Review
Feels very limited. The 3d perspective is much more of a hindrance than a boon, combined with awkward controls it feels like the game is fighting you to build rather than helping you.

Dunno if there's any threat that comes along later in the game, but without any push back from the game it felt like the walking simulator of production chain games, but without a compelling story or visuals a normal walking simulator has.

Maybe it will get better over time, as it stands now it just felt like a chore rather than a creative problem solving process as other production chain games normally are.

At it's current state I can't recommend this game.

I'm sure the console version with gamepads is fine, but on steam with a joystick there are just so many bugs, minor and game-breaking all incredibly obvious. I don't see how this got past QA, which leads me to conclude that they must not have playtested the steam version? and likely not at with anything but gamepads?

If the bugs get fixed and the game feels like it's worth €40 after that I'll change my review, but currently it's not worth it.

Like a polished Dream Quest with fewer classes, cards and achievements but with more interesting combat.
