Solid Spider-Man Arkham-like game, but not the best Spider-Man game possible.
There's a spanish YouTuber, Alexelcapo who perfectly described this game: It's not perfect, but everything it does is pretty okay as a traditional game. It will give you plenty of hours of joy and entertainment, and the modding community is great. Overrall, the first hours of this game feel incredible, because this was the second game to bring a really detailed swinging system (The first was Web Of Shadows) and overral Spider-Man experience. The story is pretty interesting only if you are fond on the Spider-Man universe and Marvel's, if not, it's still decent. The combat is pretty satisfying when you learn how to do cool combos. A thing I really liked when playing was the use of the Impact Web and the Web Shooters and two consecutive finishers all together, you really feel powerful. In fact, I think combat in this game is far superior to Miles'.

Flaws that should be fixed in Spider-Man 2
However, there are major flaws, some of them already fixed in Miles Morales', but some of them are still there.

Crawling
For a game of a dude who crawls walls, crawling system feels pretty akward. When you encounter an edge or you want to switch between surfaces, Spider-Man just can't continue crawling which is pretty weird.

Stealth
The stealth system needs a rework too. Since I have already played Miles' game, I noticed that this lacks Ceiling Takedowns, which if you really think about it, it's only natural to a Spider related hero. I think Spider-Man sets of power are not really well used in this system, there's a bunch of things that he could do and sometimes it feels like Skyrim stealth: There's a huge impact, everyone start to go missing and they are like 'Hmmm, must be a rat'. Miles game also suffers from this but they already offered good solutions to these problems, and you can at least finish a base without direct combat if you take them all stealthly. In this game, it doesn't matter, they artificially come out anyway on 6 waves.

Repetitive events on the city
Once you discover all the crimes, they start to randomly repeat over and over again. This can be pretty annoying, especially the truck F.E.A.S.T guy mission. It feels like you are on a game and not a real city.

Lifeless city
People will react to you, but nothing ahead of taking photos of Spidey and getting scared if you suddenly drop near them. Cars are lifeless too, it's like a beautiful scenario full of pre-programmed people.

Repetitive and boring boss fights
The same combos, over and over again. Pretty easy to read. Boring as times. Just like a bunch of the Arkham games.

Swinging system
Sure, it looks okay at first, but, it can feel pretty akward, especially when you are swinging by and you go too low that Spider-Man should touch ground and lose control but he floats mid-air with the power of a stronge force instead. The swinging system is a bunch of really cool animations that link together, there is no challange, no real deal. Miles' game already did something to fix this with the Venom abilities, and it was a pretty good solution to this, so I think this will be probably fixed in Spider-Man 2.

Peter Parker
They changed the old PS4 Peter to a akward youngling that does not fit in the role. This is mainly because there was a significant downgrade in facial expression and emotion. I'm not saying replace the actor again, I'm saying, make him more expressive, more human. He feels like a robot.

Conclusion
I realize this is a port from a 2018 game, and it was a huge step on the Spider-Man games. I really hope that they'll eventualy bring SM2 on PC too. I'd definetly recommend this game.
