Frustration.
...

Oh how much I regret buying it... And how much I regret giving it a second chance... No it doesn't get any better. It remains as frustrating as it always been.

- Sprites are nice, charactes are adorable, transformations have some "lеwd" subcontext behind them, but everything is still very wholesome and cute. Probably a nice story too.

- Would be cool if transformations could be used as a tool to solve puzzles, or in combat. But no, any transformation is just a regular death.

But the gameplay. The gameplay... Oh my f ing god!.. All it gives you - is Frustration...
- That kind of frustration you can get from weird puzzles and labyrinths.
- - That kind of frustration you get from the lack of a Skip Text button.
- - - That kind of frustration you get from too many things being random (enemy movement)...
- - - - Oh god, that kind of frustration from intentionally placed by the dev, the most b-s-tiest "traps".....

And most importatnly, THAT kind of FRUSTRATION you get from the rpgmaker Movement, when the game expects from you, Fast and Perfectly Precise Movement (chase scenes).


/Note: Changed-Special is a WIP remaster, everything looks nicer, there are a lot more death screens, and now story is being told you more actively. But so far, the gameplay didn't really get any better.

If you love being frustrated - go ahead. If you believe you have a lot of patience - sure. As long as you don't hate furries, and ridiculously hard and very questionable gameplay elements is what you love the most - you will enjoy the experience.

This game wants me to hate it... And I hate it... Hate... But at the same time... In a weird way... I appriciate the effort... I like the art... I like the idea behind the game... And I like the story...

Be warned, and decide yourself, if it is worth to buy it or not

This game is broken, I hate it so much

My experience:

Not fun on low tier vehicles
Too much grind to see, if it gets better at higher tiers or worse

Worth it

Bad weapons, poor combat, poor movement, which leads to bad gameplay... And yet...

This game really made shooters on consoles possible, I am glad that bungie gave the world the first Halo. But when the you don't feel the gun, don't feel the damage you are doing, when the game itself just feels sluggish. You are hardly enjoying it. Only the story saves it. And for me personally, the co-op really saves the game... Would, with better matchmaking, and better menus. Can't play with randoms, lol (Also all your actions, even movement, are very dependent on your connection)

If you are looking for a co-op game. Yeh, Halo is an option. Go ahead, call your friends, and try to understand together, why people like Halo games so much.

And yet there is still something to it. Still something intriguing to the campaigns, to the story and characters.

Oh pvp, I am so sorry for anyone, that had THIS, as their first ever game. I know you didn't know better back then, but it really made you blind to all problems of the game. Just like me, having old NFS games as first racing games ever (2, HP2, UG1, MW, C) (They were good, but they really lacked so much, and they all had problems. But EA is an entirely different story, here we have Microsoft, that didn't want a better Halo to be made, they wanted the same sequels. They wanted to "play safe". Eventually we got this Master Chief Collection. But only because all Halo games weren't too different from each other)
As I ranted above about everything being sluggish, and most guns feeling hella weak, pvp only amplifies those feelings. So if you are looking for a good pvp game. you should think twice before buying Halo.
Regarding the Master Chief Collection. I really hate the game search menu. It's hard to describe everything bad with it, but when you see it for yourself... You will quote the Drifter from D2 - "Ooh!", realizing, how unusable it is

If you want a similar pvp experience, but better overall, I would recommend Destiny. But be warned, in pvp you will always meet revolvers and shotguns. (No vehicles for some reason. They still haven't made a gamemode with them)
If you want a well balanced arena shooter, I would want to recommend Unreal Tournament or Quake. Because balance has been a problem for both Halo and Destiny.

(Maybe I just lacked aim assist with my mouse and keyboard, and that's why everything feels so bad. It was meant to be a console game after all?)

Also those "seasons" have an interesting idea of getting what you want. Still don't like it, with how hard it is to actually get those "points" to unlock stuff.
