We got what we wanted, there will be no PSN requirement.

As a result I can only recommend this game as its awesome.

Game will probably never recover from this blow as lot of people will either not change the review due to laziness or because they still don't recommend the game due to the PSN.

Anyway, now that there is no need for PSN there is nothing stopping everyone from enjoying the game.

Early Access Review
Is the game good? In a game less than 24 hours old I already spent 7 hours.

TLDR:
Game is really good and has potential to get even better as time goes on. Story in this game is weak to say the least but if you like survival games then this is for you. Its fun game to jump into if you want to play with friends and you can spend lot of time in it.
On the other hand its Early access and you can see it easily as there can be dissapearing bosses so you will have to restart the boss and I personally flew to the sky and died when I got back down (second time turning game on and off saved me). Then there is chat... It works but not well.
When it comes to server side my friend just described it as easy to set it up but when it comes to control its minimal. System message look like person named "SYSTEM" wrote in chat and so on.

Long Read:
So story? I think there is some? But when it comes to gameplay this game is good. You can see some Pokémon combined with Ark Survival Evolved, Conan Exiles and Zelda, there may be more but those are the ones I saw the most.
Pokémon is obvious, Ark has similar system for opening crafting of new items and schematics together with thew breeding mechanic (didnt use or see it yet tho), Conan exiles and thralls which Pals quite remind me of as they can craft, farm and mine what you need at your base. Last game is Zelda, which is obvious when it comes to glider or climbing/swiming - stamina drain is real.

Crafting
Crafting overall is little annoying when it comes to some items as you are forced to hold "F" the whole time for item to craft (palls can replace you or speed up your work tho). What makes it harder are the limited controlls of your pals as I will explain bellow.
Weapons, Gaining Pal, Combat and Pal control
Weapons
Combat is fun and if player is skilled enough you can skip quite a few levels. First 3 basic weapons are club, bow, and spear. Later you get crossbow and some guns.
And I have to say that I cant believe who thought it was good idea to make 3 different bows and 3 different kinds of ammo and each bow can use only specific ammo, respectivelly normal arrowws for normal bow, posion for poison bow, fire for fire bow. On the other hand crossbow can use same arrows but you also have different crossbow for different arrows.....
I wish there was just 1 bow and multiple types of arrows or upgraded bow that could use the new ammo type together with old one.
Gaining Pal
To get pal you need the Sphere, which is quite easy to craft. You beat the pal you want, it will weaken, and then you throw the sphere on it. Sphere shows percentage of the capture and when it reaches 100% you got new Pal, otherwise it gets out and you can either weaken it more or just throw another sphere. If there are more pals of same kind around then they will attack but different ginds will ignore you.
Combat
So with pal you can use it for combat, later you can unlock some abilities (or role) for them and while some may have them already (small elephant that heals is awesome) most will need to be unlocked by crafted item (saddle, collar, gloves...) all this stuff is in another inventory tab so its nice.
Weapon mechanics are simple and I will not explain them but be careful with your stamina usage and dodging, once you depete your stamina you must wait until it fills all the way back up.
Pal Control
You have control wheel and it works similar to what is in Ark. you can command your pal to attack everyone, be passive and so on. BUT unlike ark it is limited. If you want to catch new pal you need to weaken it so combat begins and if you dont set yourt current pal on passive it will continue to attack and kills the pal instead.
Same issue is in base. They eat when they want, go relax when they want and do anything that "needs" to be done. YOU want them to craft something but no, they go and cut down trees or gather stone in stone quarry that can be crafted. They stop if quarry reaches limit but limit is 10.000 and after mining few hours you may have less than few hundred in it. Only way to "force" pal to do what you want is to pick him up and then throw him at the issue - it will work on closest project when put down.
So i wish for pals to stop attacking on time and to be able to manage what they do at the base as most of the time they do what I dont want them to do unless there is nothing else avaible.
Exploration and death
I personally liked exploring as map consisting of Islands is quite big and it takes long time to explore. Same as in Ark if you die you drop all of your stuff to the ground (Pals included), there is also the light beam that will show position of your stuff together with marker on map.
What is awesome is that Island is full of Fast travel pillars so even if you die you are usually close to some fast travel point which makes it more forgiving than Ark.
Other Stuff - Early Access
Its easy to see its early access as I told you above but you can easily see it when it comes to the in-game chat. It is character limited but there is no indication of that so everything written above this limit is just deleted. As a result chat can take simple sentences and slightly longer ones are impossible. I feel like character limit is 30 but 100% less than 50.

All Day Dying is a good FPS with great gameplay and fast-paced action.

Introduction
This is a game made purely for the action. Just you, weapons, and enemies to kill. A game with a simple and interesting art style, great music, and lots of movement, once you start you will always run and slide.

Gameplay
The game is a fast-paced single-player FPS. The first thing I did was trying the tutorial, which explained just the basic movement. I thought that was the end but it wasn't, as the first few levels help the player too. And a big part of the tutorial is made in a form of videos in level selection. Every time there is some significant change or a new weapon, you can play a video explaining it. I watched a few and they are well made with subtitles and voice over.

The goal is to get the highest score possible and unlock new levels. The game has five difficulty options influencing mainly 3 things: Player's health, Enemies (health, accuracy), and time available.

The game is easy to explain, kill everyone before the time runs out without dying yourself. So far it looks easy, but it is not, as even one mistake can lead to you losing; all you need to do is to overlook an enemy at the start of the level, just to run out of time trying to finish the job.

When you start a level you can activate the spectator mode. You can freely explore the map, find all weapons, see the enemies, and even kill them. This mode will not end even if you kill them all. It is a good way to plan your way through. But you must know that during this mode enemies are not moving at all, so the reality is still different as enemies change positions.

Overall, the game has great music and sound that helps the player, maps have good variation and each looks unique. Once you get to know the game you will start improving and older levels become a lot easier even if new levels are still challenging.

The game is good and fun, I did not find any bugs or other issues like that. My biggest problem was the hotkeys used to switch between weapons, where I had to change my keyboard layout from Czech to English as the game was not registering the symbols properly and also couldn't be remapped (special symbols).

For a score based game, I expected a leaderboard but there isn't. Game saves just your highest score. Otherwise, the game was fun and I enjoyed the action, it was fast, challenging, and had great music.

https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2336075992

Progress
To unlock more levels or chapters you need to have a set number of points, you get those from completing levels (killing all enemies in time) and by doing the challenges, each level has three of those; some easy, some hard.

Challenges have good variation and usually easy to understand (Kill X enemies with Y weapon. Collect X number of Y. Do X headshots in a row.). They can make the game harder but also more interesting and fun. If you complete all the challenges in a level, you will unlock the corresponding cheat
Character
You play as an unnamed character, there is no story to speak of, and you will use multiple weapons. The character has its abilities: double jump and kick. The former is the basic one, where it needs you to touch the ground for recharge, the latter on the other hand is a powerful attack. It is also the best choice if you are close to an enemy, be careful as it has a short recharge period before you can use it again.

The game does not have any sprint as you run all the time and it has a slide instead. It adds some speed and allows you to jump over a bigger distance, great for avoiding enemies’ bullets too. An important part of this game is the radar, which shows you enemies through walls. Then you have the “Rage” ability, which is available after you kill half of the enemies, you will be able to one-shot enemies for a short time, so plan it well.

https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2336072345

Weapons
The player can use multiple weapons, and each has a special ability or alternative fire. The pistol can set a checkpoint and teleport you to it later, the shotgun has powerful shot, its recoil can be used to jump higher too, other weapons have different and unique abilities as well. Apart from the abilities, their fire rates differ, as does damage and their effective range, you don’t have to reload them but there is usually time between shots.

You will not be able to choose the weapons you get. Weapons always need to be picked up from the ground, you will never hold any at the start of the level. To make good use of them you will need to watch the ability to recharge and make the best choice in the current situation.
Enemies
Multiple types of enemies will appear as you progress through the game. Each of them fights differently and appears in different numbers. For example, the sniper is usually in smaller numbers but positioned further from the player. Each enemy type looks different and they are easy to recognize, which helps you think of the best strategy to attack.

https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2336071450

Visuals
The game is bright and minimalistic, there are some with open areas and others inside buildings. Maps are usually in warm colors, so it is easy to see the enemies even from a great distance.

Enemies are interesting, they look like they are made of glass or crystals and you will recognize their type from distance, their health can be seen by their color, going from blue to red. Weapons have interesting and recognizable designs, so you know what to expect from them.

Some of the HUD elements can be changed in options, such as your weapon position and size, the color of your character, and more.

Sound
The first thing I need to mention is that I loved the music in this game, for me it fits right in. You can change to another track if you dislike the current one and once you find one you like, mayhem can start. Music is quieter without any combo but once you start killing and gain some it gets louder; it goes quieter again once you lose your combo.

Sound effects are implemented well, even if some get annoying to hear after you died for Nth time. Enemies dying sounds like the glass is breaking, if you use radar every enemy discovery makes a distinct sound too, weapons sound normal, the double jump has spring-like noise at the second jump.

Conclusion
All Day Dying has great music, sound effects, gameplay, and is challenging. If you enjoy shooting and trying to be as cool and as fast as you can, you will like this game a lot. Simplistic design with great sound effects and music make a great atmosphere, weapons and their abilities are well made, the game is good. If you want an action-packed FPS which will test your skill and aim, I recommend this game.

SUPERHOT is simple yet enjoyable. It is short, yet I don’t mind.

SUPERHOT, a game that doesn't need any description. A unique name for a unique game, everyone knows it, everyone has seen it. A white world filled with red enemies that is all you need to see to say: SUPERHOT

https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2209829330
Gameplay

The game is addictive and works on a simple yet fun principle. You appear in different situations and need to think of a way to survive and kill all of your enemies. So far, nothing new. What makes this game unique is that time which slows down when you don’t move or perform any action like shooting, picking up items, etc. Time never really stops, so even if you don’t want to move, you need to dodge bullets. As a bonus, your run will be shown in real-time at the end of each level and you will have an option to save it.

Environment and situations

Environments are always white, but their layout is different. You can spawn in several different locations, including: an elevator, long hall, or a subway. Levels are small, and it is possible to finish them quickly, but you need to check every corner for enemies or for a new weapon. There will be more open areas appearing in later levels, where you can’t hide behind anything.

https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2209828815
There are multiple levels that unlock as you progress with the story. The first levels have few weapons and are easy to complete, and as you progress, levels get harder to finish; there's less cover, and higher number of better-equipped enemies come from multiple directions, which makes the situation a lot more complicated.

The game doesn’t have many weapons, but each of them has unique characteristics, and you need to know how to use them. Most of the time you will use firearms which have limited ammo, you can also fight with your fists, or with melee weapons that can be found throughout the level. You can also throw weapons and other items, which will result in an enemy being stunned briefly and disarmed, items will be broken after being thrown.

Opinion
I really liked the game it is quite fast-paced and you need to be aware of your surroundings, plan accordingly, and count how many shots you have left in a weapon.

Every map was unique and has its own layout, number of enemies, and difficulty. The most important factor is the start of every mission, you know nothing about the level and you need to act, often really fast, or you will break like a glass dropped on the ground.

As the game is short and has many levels, I finished it in short, about 30 minutes long, sessions in under 2 weeks while playing other games. If you are looking on good but not time demanding game, this is the one I would recommend.

https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2209829015
Sound

There are various sound effects, but no music. Weapons sound satisfying, and the most iconic sound is the one of the glass breaking. You will hear it every time you kill an enemy, break glass, or an item. Sound effects react to time slowing down, it fits the atmosphere nicely and it is not disturbing at all, and I don’t mind having no music as the levels are usually short.

Story

The game's story is functional and decently written but not its selling point. The main menu is part of the story and it doubles as the menu of the game itself too. Story starts in the Main menu where you get the message from someone and obtain imaginary files of the game (real you play as a player of that game). Most of the story is told by chatting with the person who sends you the “imaginary” game files. There are some special levels for the story, where you don’t usually fight but it progresses the story.
Some players could find the non-fighting instances annoying because they just want to play, but I found the story quite interesting, and I liked how it tries to break the fourth wall.

Story was an interesting one, I liked is how it is told and how they interact with you as a player. Game made player and character you play into one entity, which makes it interesting, as every time They talk to the character, tell him to stop, speak to him, etc. They also talk to the player at the same time and it is you, the player, who continues with the actions of character. Character in the game is not meant to be another person with its own life, thinking, and actions, what they are doing is turning the player into the main character and protagonist of the game.

Challenges

Challenges are unlocked after finishing the story, and use the same levels, but you have various restrictions making them harder to complete. Some of them allow you to use only one weapon while others have time limits for completion; one that's affected by the slowing of time, and one that is not.

As they use same levels as the main story you already know every layout, number of enemies and how to act. Yet it is quite different as you often can't win the same way as you did before, the weapon you used is disabled or you just need to hurry up instead of making trick-shots. Challenges are nothing new but they make great addition to the game and improve its replayability.

Conclusion

I really recommend playing this game. It is really enjoyable and satisfying if you run through a level just as you planned. Even if the game isn’t too long and doesn’t have too many levels, you can always try to beat a new record and play some challenges.

That said, there are some things they could improve upon, while the game is good, they could add a level editor or steam workshop, which would extend the gameplay indefinitely and I would like to see some player-created levels. Price can be quite big for someone as you can finish the game in one day without any problem.

Green hell is an open-world survival game set in the Amazonian Jungle. You start with nothing and you have to build, craft and harvest everything by yourself or, in case you are playing online, with your friends.

Gameplay

The first time you appear in the jungle, you have nothing and you know little about the local area and wildlife. The game wants to be realistic and that can be seen, from your nourishment management, to how dangerous it is to be injured.

You need to eat and drink, but food will spoil after some time and water can contain parasites. Additionally, you need to clean yourself, or you can get an infection into your wounds. The Jungle is very dangerous and every enemy you meet can be your last.

Surviving

The game has some enemies but they are not as life-threatening as your environment. They are dangerous, but not as much as the injuries that you get from the encounters with them, infection in your wounds, poisoning or just running out of water and food.

You have a sanity meter that you deplete and replenish by various actions, how you sleep, what you eat, etc. I really liked this feature because it can be deadly when it depletes. You start to hear voices, which are really similar to those in Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, everywhere from no set direction. Apart from hearing the voices, you can see hallucinations of natives, that will attack you but if you kill them they disappear and you get nothing even if you receive injuries.

Apart from sanity, you have health and energy meters. Health is dependent on your Macroelements levels and you have to sleep regularly and if you don’t, you pass out. Energy is an indication of your maximum stamina, too.

https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2155429875

Combat

Combat is not a strong part of this game. You have a number of combat options you can choose, but you don’t meet enemies too often, if you are like me and usually stay at your base and craft your Items.

Natives can attack your base and you can meet them, or predators, in the jungle, but unless it’s a predator that takes you by surprise, you don’t have to fight much, and natives are singing their songs all the time outside of combat, which can help you prepare for the fight or to avoid it completely. As I told above, the most dangerous are the consequences of the fight.

Smartwatch, Map, and Notebook

The Player will start with a notebook and watches, both of which are of most importance. Your notebook is like a silent guide that will tell you how to craft something and it will enable you to build structures. Apart from crafting, you can see the progress of the story and other pieces of information important to survival - statuses, plants, effects, etc.

The Smartwatch has 3 functions: Time, Compass, and Macroelements. Time needs no explanation, Compas shows your coordinates and directions, and Macroelements is your meter of hunger and hydration. The game has 3 different types of nourishments which are counted as hunger - Carbohydrates, Proteins, and Fats. Your level of Macroelements is affecting your maximum health - more full = more health.

The last part of the important gear you will get is your map, which is obtained in your first steps after the tutorial. You cant see yourself on the map so to find your location you have to use compass coordinates too, the fastest way to find your location is being at the marked area on your map.

https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2155430807

Environment - graphics and sound

The game is in the Amazonian rainforest full of trees, some areas have bamboo instead , and you will see various other plants everywhere. During your exploration, you will find rivers and other areas with water.

The game looks great in comparison to some other survival games that I’ve seen and details are a nice touch, animals make sounds while they are moving through the plants, you can hear the parrots and other jungle animals screams.

https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2144510799

Game modes

Story
I really liked the story in this game, it lets you unlock new areas, it was interesting and you have a nice plot twist, too. It isn’t a story-driven game but the story was really great. Most of it is told by your radio conversation but you can see various clues to what happened from scattered documents or audio-logs you can find in some areas.

The biggest revelations are in the form of a Spiritual journey. After drinking hallucinogenic brew, you get to see the forgotten past and get to know the true story. You can take your time and explore the area instead of following the story, but as it opens new areas I recommend you to try completing at least some of it before making your base.

Survival

Survival is almost the same as the Story mode. The main difference is that you can't access a few areas and features connected to the story. Apart from those you have access to a bigger part of the map right from the start, even if you still have to get the equipment to gain access to all of the areas in the game. Location of the needed equipement can difer from those in story. I recommend trying the story first because I really liked it and if you don’t hurry up you can take as long as you want to finish it. There are not many differences between them in terms of gameplay, apart from things connected to story like radio or Spiritual pathways.

Challenges

Challenges are mini-missions in the world and they are not connected to your story progress in any way. They use the same areas but you appear in a given location with your mission and the coordinates of your objective, you don’t have a map or any other item. You are given a certain time to complete the objective before the challenge ends.

Multiplayer

You can play with other players, with no friendly damage, and explore, build, and do stories together. If you want to play multiplayer I recommend you to play it with friends because you can save your progress and if you change to another server/player you lose it. Even so, you can find active players in public games that would play with you.

Problems

Be aware that there are still sometimes some bugs or complications - Game of the host I played with lost his save and he had to do some things again. Sometimes you can see bugged animals or items thrown on the ground - not very often, but the biggest issue I had was the natives’ and some animals’ AI.

When you jump on a rock or you go to a platform built in the water, Natives will ignore you as if you disappeared and they will “find” you again when you step on the ground. I tried this multiple times and they ran away when I was on the rock, then back to attack me when I stepped on the ground, then I repeated it more with the same results, same happened with Black Caiman (crocodile) when I jumped on and off a fallen tree. This doesn’t have to happen every time and needs more testing.

Conclusion

As my first Survival game, I really enjoyed it, apart from a few problems mentioned above. It looks really great, the sound effects are good and the story is a nice touch. Because I didn’t play many survival games I can’t compare them but from what I saw, this game is on the right way to take a place among them. The sound effects are good and the story is a nice touch. Because I didn’t play many survival games I can’t compare them but from what I saw, this game is on the right way to make itself a place among them.

So firstly the review is not negative because the game is bad, it is negative because it is not worth the full price. If you happen to have it, play it. If you want it, wait for a sale or a bundle.
This game is an adventure game with a simple but confusing story. Only bad thing is that the game is just too short, according to HLTB (https://howlongtobeat.com/game?id=11865) you can complete this game with all achievements in 3,5 hours if you want just a story its 2 hours. I myself finished the story after 1 day and got some achievements the second day.

First impression and thoughts

If you want some serious game, don’t even try this one. It doesn’t take anything seriously not even the game itself. The whole game is confusing and you will be thinking “WTF is this” all the time while you are playing it.
But that doesn’t mean that the game is bad. It is just…...different. I would say it’s like if you think about Rick and Morty, a lot of things don’t make sense but it makes sense in some weird kind of way anyway.

Story and side-missions

Game is short and the story is even shorter if you don’t do anything aside from the story you can finish most missions in less than 15 minutes (if you walk slowly) but you can go to explore and have a lot of fun. The game has a lot of references to movies and other games which can be seen just by walking around or interacting items / NPCs.
The humor of this game is unique as the game itself, really weird but funny. You will just want to walk around a map and see what you can do or what will happen if you do this or that. Side-missions in this game are important, all the achievements are from side-missions and it is worth it to try them. Most of them are silly and they often don’t make much sense. You have to obtain pigeons, kill flies, etc. Some side missions have their own map, but those are rarer.

Gameplay

Game is really easy to understand as you just move around and have 3 other things you can do: interact (NPC or Items - picking them up too), Change Item in your hand, have an empty hand. That is all you need to play this game.
A big part of this game is its freedom that you get during your missions. When you start a mission you have a small briefing and when you are in a mission area, you will see text with an objective.
Apart from that text, you have to guess and try to progress on your own, how to get there, what to do, etc. The game will help you a little - e.g. NPC that blocks your way will tell you “I would like…” you find it and use it. Some things in this game don’t make any sense, but in a good way because it is the style of the game. There are a lot of fun things to do, they are usually just jokes or a few seconds of a minigame.

Conclusion

Like the game itself, this review is short because most of its charm is in missions, interactions, and funny situations, which can’t be explained without spoiling the game.
Jazzpunk is a unique game that is not for everyone but if you have it and you don’t know what to play, just try it. If you want to buy it wait for Sale or Bundle. I really enjoyed this game and if it weren’t for the price I would recommend it without a second thought.

I really really like this game, but I hate new matcghmaking, you cant choose to who you go, so my first try some new player taht doesnt comunicate, other 2 loaded, communicate, but there are lags, which make it almost unplayable and 4th try didnt even load with connection lost.
So yes buy this game if you love Borderlands, but dont count on playing with other random people in group. If your friend has it I think it should be ok somehow, didnt try that so not sure.

The Borderlands games are co-op FPS looter-shooter games. Every game has several characters called Vault Hunters, each of whom has a unique active ability, and as you level up you gain skill points that you can spend in 1 of 3 character-based skill trees. The game is based on looting guns, and you'll have a lot of them.

Story

Story-wise, it's possible to play just one title in the series and still enjoy it, but you will not get all the references, due to the presence of returning characters in prominent roles. Borderlands 2 has a very good story and the main bad guy named Handsome Jack is a really good one, his narcissistic way of speaking combined with his habit of making fun of you is really good.

Progress

As I said before, you have characters, that you may call classes too, and each of them has 3 skill trees that are based on characters’ play-style. Zer0 has, for example, tree tailored toward sniping, and Axton has one for better offense and one for defense.
There are a lot of side missions that give you XP, which you get from killing enemies too, and other rewards, which are usually money, items (shields, weapons…) and cosmetics. The main story missions have the same rewards as side quests but, you can open more weapon slots from the story and have up to 4 equipped weapons.

Co-op Game

Connecting to other players is super easy and you can set your own matchmaking to be either Solo, Friends only, Lan or Public. Names are self-explanatory and on steam it’s connected to your account and you can either choose an option to connect to the best game or you can choose manually, but that is still influenced by your level and story, so level 5 can’t connect to level 50 game, unless it is your friend, in that case, it is free to connect to him without considering level.
Every game can have a maximum of 4 players and loot has just one instance (not like in 3, where you can choose) so if good weapon appears it depends on your team who gets it, the fastest to run for it, or the one who needs it the most?
If you want PVP, you have to look elsewhere, because there is none in this game. The only thing similar to PVP would be Duels, but those aren’t important and they are just for fun between players, nothing to gain or lose from them.

Health and revive

Some of the game mechanics are explained in other sections of this review.
Players in this game have Shields, which automatically recharge, unlike health which doesn’t regenerate by default (some skills in the tree can change it). If you lose all health you will enter state named “Crippled”, during this state you are bleeding and if it runs out, you die and respawn at the nearest respawn point, you can get out of this state by killing an enemy or your teammate can revive you.

Combat

Every game in the series has a big variety of weapons and every new title improves on it. Borderlands 2 has all classic kinds of weapons - Submachines, Assault rifles, Shotguns, etc. But all of those, even with different elements and color themes start to get repeated, and later you know them all and there are just some minor differences. Weapons are separated by rarity, manufacturer, and element.
Rarity is self-explanatory, the rarer the better (usually), manufacturers have their own “weapon style”, for example, Maliwan is focused on elemental weapons while Jacobs has usually slow but precise weapons with good DMG.
Elements increase DMG to a specific type of enemies, Incendiary (fire) is for the flesh, Shock (electric) for shields, Corrosive for armor, Explosive adds AOE, and Slug is special, that increase DMG from all weapons without slag element. Some elements like the Incendiary have DMG over time.

Items and currency

The main currency is called just “Money” and the rarer one is called Eridium. You can use the money to buy new items (weapons, shields, etc.) or use it for slot machines, you lose some every time you die. Eridium is rare material used to purchase SDU upgrades from a special NPC, those SDU will increase your carry capacity of weapon ammo.

Enemies and environment

I think Enemy types are quite varied and well made with different critical hit-zones. There are a lot of enemies and they can be generally divided into Humanoids, Robots, and Beats. Humans are usually bandits, but if you have DLCs, you can get skeletons and other humanoids too. Robots are mainly Hyperion loaders, but there are more variations and as for Beast you get skags, bullymongs, insects, and more of them.
As for environments you have snowy and ice region when you start, then you get I would say quite a normal area around your home-base and you get to desert later on. Then you get areas inside like caves or buildings which are varied too. If you buy some DLCs you get even more of them.

DLCs

If you are thinking about buying a DLC, it depends on your preferences, you want cosmetics, you want more game time or you want a new playable character? If you want to play DLCs maps in co-op I recommend finding someone to play it, because matchmaking is usually just to the main game and not everyone has DLCs. I think if you like the game and want to try something unusual like D&D style Borderlands, you should try it.

Conclusion

If you are looking for a fun game to play with friends, you found one. The story is good, co-op gameplay is awesome and you can combine your powers to get each other stronger. Combat is fast-paced and there are a lot of enemies that you can kill and weapons you can get. I played this game a lot and I had a lot of fun, you can choose your own style, be it sniper or just running forward with a shotgun like a maniac, the choice is yours.

I really like this game but there are some minor issues which could be better.
For example when you have crew and you click on dismiss by mistake, you cant take it back.
Next thing I would like is to get some way to know where you died.
For starting players it can be hard and confusing but later, after you get to know the game, you will love it.
I really recomend this game.

Warframe is a F2P Co-op game with fast-paced combat. The game's story is interesting and still progressing with new Quests being added. Even if the main focus is on co-op, solo or PVP is available too. Lots of missions, weapons, customizations and enemies for you to explore.

Story

As you play your game, you unlock story quests, which are telling the story of the game. It's quite hard to judge the story as a whole because there are still new quests being added. The story is really interesting, with nice cutscenes, but it’s sometimes confusing too. Those quests aren’t just for the story, they will unlock new aspects of the game, new places, and new missions.

Progressing

The player starts at the Earth and he has to complete a set of missions to an open place called The Junction, which connects to another planet, for each one, you get rewards like Blueprints and new quest. The level or rank that unlocks all weapons and items in this game is called Mastery Rank or MR for short. If you obtain a blueprint of a gun that requires higher MR than you currently have, you can't forge it, and if you want to obtain it through trade, it’s impossible too. You progress through MR as you level up or rank up your weapons, frames, and companions. You can gain MR from them just once unless it's a special variant from syndicates like Sancti Tigris or Prime variant like Tigris Prime. Each item has a maximum rank set to 30.

The core of the game

Game is based around squads of 4 players unless you want to play solo or only with a friend, who complete missions on planets in the Solar system. In these missions, you need to complete a certain objective, that is determined by the type of mission.
In Exterminate you need to kill a certain number of enemies, in Defense, you need to protect the objective from enemies and in Spy, you need to retrieve intel from computers that are defended by a security system, enemies and start to delete themselves if you trigger an alarm. Those are just some of the mission types in this game and some of them are unique too, for example, Index on Neptune, you bet your money against AI, and if you win you get more than you bet.

Other Than core

Other than co-op there is a PVP part named Conclave, unique missions, and new update Empyrean.
In PVP you have separate loadout apart from the usual ones and weapons have different stats, there are several mods, most unique Is Lunaro, which is more like a sport than fighting.
Unique missions are missions that are less common than normal ones, examples can be Index on Neptune and free roam maps on Earth and Venus. These missions have different mechanics, it can be different objectives or maps. Free Roam are for example more open maps, where you can accept missions, mine, fish, or just run around, you have no mission unless you accept one.
Empyrean is a new big update, which adds space combat in spaceships operated by 1 or more players, it’s made for more players, so you need a pilot, someone who repairs ships and one who goes out does destroy Crew ships. I would recommend at least 2 players as a necessary minimum to play. You can build your own ship in Dojo, you can upgrade it, choose weapons and change its look.

Monetization

Every starting player gets a little bit of Platinum (in-game currency) and I recommend you to use it for Slots for weapons or frames, as they are limited. You can obtain more of it, just from trading with other players, prices depend on items and go from single digits for normal mods to even thousands for some rare ones, both of which can be obtained from playing without any paying.

Community

Because it's a Free co-op game and everyone can join in, it's important to talk about the community a little bit. As I mentioned during missions there are 4 player squads, but outside there are clans that you need to join in order to progress the game without any problems. Clans connect players in this game and above Clans are Alliances, which connect multiple Clans. To join one you need to be invited or you can create one. The clan has 4 different tiers, higher tier means more people are able to join the clan, Ghost is a max of 10 players, and Moon 1000 players, but with more people comes at a cost. There are Labs in a clan and you build various rooms and corridors in your base named DOJO, each tier increases the number of resources needed to research something or build a room. The Moon clan needs 100x times more resources than Ghost one.
Every clan I joined was tolerant, friendly and it usually has all research done. Clanmates were very helpful with the game and explained what is what. I recommend players to join one as soon as you can, when you are more experienced with the game and know how things work, you can try to make your own.
Trading is a very important part of the game, you can trade some blueprints, weapon parts, Platinum and mods. The player unlocks Trading at Mastery Rank 2 and gets more trades per day as he Ranks up.

Orbiter (Home base)

As I said, mission types are varied in the core game, but combat systems and mechanics are usually the same, except for the unique missions as mentioned above. Player has Arsenal on his base, called Orbiter, where he can change his loadout, this includes frame, Primary, Secondary, and Melee Weapons, together with their companions and their weapons (if possible). Apart from those, this is the place, where the player changes their gear, tinkering with their cosmetics (colors, capes, etc.) and most importantly Modding their items. Frames and weapons are very varied, you can play as a DPS (damage dealer), healer, or Tanky (more health, usually lower dmg) character based on the abilities of your frame.

Forging

Most of the items are made by the player in Forge that is inside your Orbiter, you have to gain their blueprints, that you can get them as you progress through the game, some of them drop from enemies, but you can gain most of them from your Orbiter's market or in your Clan Dojo, more about that later. Some of the items are easy to forge, but others require a lot of resources or resources that are rare. The items include weapons, new frames, cosmetic items, utilities, and so on.
If you talk about weapons you can make in this game, there are a lot, apart from classic assault rifles and shotguns, you have many more categories. Each of these categories has at least several different weapons under them, so you can choose which one you like.

Mods

Mods are the most important part of the game. To explain them, they are cards, which you can insert inside most of the items, your frame, weapons, companions, archwing, etc. They are differentiated based on their usages, like primary, melee, frame, etc., with some special cases like a shotgun, beam, or bow weapon types. This is logical because these mods improve stats of the items, you can add health, shields, or strengthen abilities of your frame, While in weapons you can increase damage, fire rate, or size of the magazine. You can get new mods from trading with other players, playing the game or by visiting Baro Ki'Teer, when he is in a relay.
You can upgrade mods by using a resource called endo and credits. Every mod has the capacity, that takes space in items you slot them in, you can use Forma so that mod needs only half or you can use Orokin Catalyst for weapons and Orokin Reactor for Frames and pets to double their capacity for mods from 30 to 60.

Conclusion

This game is mainly aiming for players that like PVE and although it’s possible to play solo, it’s better to play with other players and friends. The only thing I don’t like about it is grinding and leveling up Items, but that’s in almost every online game. I like the community, style of game, and story, which is very engaging and interesting. If you are looking for a F2P game with friends, I recommend Warframe, because you don’t need to pay anything to enjoy the game and its content.
