One of the best games I've played in a long time. The feeling of playing an old school game where you have to make decisions and then can't undo them was very refreshing. A funny side effect was that I came to the game because my graphics card burned out :( That definitely reminded me that the graphics aren't always the most important thing in a game. The game itself runs smoothly. There's no stuttering in the fights like there is in some other RPGs.
The fights are challenging but not too difficult. Practice makes perfect, so to speak :) The game's story is also fun to read. So all in all, a well-rounded game and highly recommended. I'm now on my third playthrough.

Like the first part, one of the best story games I've ever played. Wonderful graphics, great dark atmosphere. Like a long movie in a medieval setting.
For everyone who is looking for a more relaxed gaming experience. Not Souls like. Unfortunately, the game doesn't have quite as much replay factor.
But for my taste you are highly rewarded by the story and graphics

I want to give you a small experience of my Gaming Adventure in New World.
It started out good had some bugs but not too many and you could live with them.
The Combatsystem felt good for a MMO.
Charakter development was okish, here and there a new Weapon, nice achievable Faktion Gear and so on.
After like 150 hours you got related to the Game began to like PVP and PVE figured out stuff like
the Watermark.
When the Quests stopped becausse you finished them you needed to figure out how to make a little money, buy a house and most things where fine.
Then the last Patch: into the Void relesed and it was really nice ... not ...

They nerfed mage DPS Firestaff/Ice Gauntlet to being not viable in PVE and PVP ...
Light Armor has no use at all from the beginning you deal WAY to less Damage for being so squishy against e.g. Heavy / Axe / Strength Builds or Medium Dex Builds...
You are down after 3-4 Hits ... and i talk about +8k HP ...

They reformed the Crafting System without any announcement so everyone who managed to get to 200 no matter which Profession had it WAY easiert to achieve it ...
e.g. Arcana ... before you need 1x Azoth Water, 1x Earthmote and 1x Soulmote for a Big HP Pot so 3 Items.
Now you need an additional +10x Hysop (low mats) +1 Lifebloomstern (drops of Lifeblooms) to craft 1 single pot...
And the most Ironic thing is they mentioned it in the patchnotes as a "quality of life" change:

"Potion Crafting Update

We felt that some of the higher-tier core potions (particularly Health Potions and Mana Potions) were a little too difficult to craft, so we updated the recipes to craft these items and introduced a new alchemical component to do so: Alkahest.

Alkahest is crafted by distilling the magical herbs found throughout Aeternum and serves as a reliable and potent base for potions going forward."

"a littel to difficult" ??? And you make that easier by adding 11... eleven!! additional items you need to craft 1 Pot ... instead of 3 items??? Are your DEV's sleeping, no seriously !!!

Now you're simply lost... another eg. Voidbend Ingot moved to smelting 200 ... 50 before ...

Items Harvesting/ Minging Gear disappeared from Shed / Character ...

Killed the Traders because you merged all Auctionhouses...

At the moment i do not recommed the game for players who aren't willing to put tremendous affort in it.
Beside Server populations are dying on most Servers, so you can't find buddies to play PVE content if you are a lower lvl.

So over all nice Job ...
Maybe you completely reroll the Game set everyone back to lvl 1 and go back to the concept board ... :steamthumbsdown:

Wirklich gutes Spiel.
Grafik ist besonders auf Extreme deutlich besser als zum Vorgänger.
Auch das Movement kommt einem sehr bekannt vor aus VT1.
Mit den kürzlich erschienen Änderungen wurde auch melee in meinen Augen deutlich verbessert.
Klare Kaufempfehlung für alle Warhammer Fans und alle die VT1 schon gemocht haben.

Wenn jetzt noch ein Bountie Board kommt is alles Top ;)
