While ETS2 might certainly be a well-made trucking simulator, its main attraction for – I’d guess – the majority of it’s player base, is its value in being a great game to relax to. Whether I want to listen to some podcast or finish a newly found album, there’s no nicer thing to do in the background then watch the pretty scenery pass by. That’s not to say that ETS2 is in any way a boring game, nor is it an overcomplicated one, as it allows you to set just how much depth and realism it should offer. I’d also like to comment on just how dedicated the studio behind it seems to be: Despite being released over 8 years ago at this point, ETS2 still get’s frequent updates – as in, at least one major update every two or so months. That’s better than many games within their first two years after release!

Very cool game concept full of potential, but unfortunately with an extremely poor execution in all sorts of areas. The game is absolutely full of gameplay bugs, visual bugs, physics bugs, audio bugs, UI bugs, etc. Every part of the game feels very unfinished, with a tutorial that wastes a lot of time without actually explaining to you how to play the game, balancing being way off, and the main gameplay loop feeling quite broken in many ways. Jalopy unfortunately feels like a very Early Access game which was completely abandoned midway through development. I’d love to be able to recommend this title as the game idea, once again, has potential, but in this state all that this software will do is annoy you a lot and provide zero entertainment value.

Angels with Scaly Wings is definitely one of the best games I've ever played. While the novelty of a dragon-based VN initially got me to check this title out, it turns AwSW is quite different and much more than what one might expect. The main focus of the game is it's story, and it is surprisingly one of the best ones I've seen in a long time from any game or movie. It is also the first piece of media in over 7 years which actually managed to make me cry, which is a feat in and of itself.

Honestly, I feel confident in saying that anyone who gives this game a try will greatly enjoy it -- not matter whether you're a fan of VNs/dragons or not. For how much this title offers, ten bucks is a steal.

Black Mesa is much much more than just a remake of the original Half-Life. It's a whole new game with the level design and gameplay quality which one would only expect from an actual modern Valve release. Crowbar Collective didn't just remake all the levels and assets -- they added new levels where the original game fell short, re-engineered large parts of the Source Engine to enable new graphics technologies, and completely scrapped the rushed mess that was Xen in the original release and replaced it with a game world like I've never seen before.

It is incredible that CC had the perseverance to bring this project to a full release after 14 long years of development with probably only minimal resources, and I can only recommend for everyone to give this game a try, Half-Life fan or not, as it certainly become one of my all-time-favorites.

This game has been a huge surprise for me. I went in expecting some interesting transformation themes, but apart from that likely only a short, mediocre story and game-play.

What I got instead is a full on RPG with a good, fleshed-out story, detailed environments, great character development, good if a bit though puzzles, and a wonderful soundtrack to boot. Oh, and the TF themes were also there, in an unexpected capacity.

The only negative point I can raise (which is btw easily outweighed by the huge positives above) is that some parts of the game are next-to-impossible to solve without a guide on hand. While there are multiple extremely well written and spoiler-free guides available here on Steam, it's still not ideal. On the other hand, I can absolutely respect the rouge-like theme the developer was going for here -- after all, the all-time-classic FTL is no different with it's harshness towards new players.

Overall, let alone because of it's beautiful story and endings, I'd rate this game a 10/10, and recommend it to anyone who's shown enough interest in Changed to scroll down to the reviews.

A little hard to get into, but very rewarding once you do. Gameplay-wise parallels to programming can be drawn.

Unironically amazing game, and quite an improvement over it's (already great) predecessor!

Honestly, SOMA is one of the best games I've ever played.

When playing non-multiplayer games I tend to completely immerse myself in the game world, forget my real surroundings. That's why I have never played a horror game and did not intend to ever touch one - I can't handle that stress. But then Frictional Games announced SOMA. Being a big enthusiast of the concept of Artificial Consciousness, the themes Frictional showed off two years ago got me very, very interested in the game to the point I kinda ignored it's a horror game the best I could.

Now, that the game's finally released, I couldn't ignore it being a horror game anymore. What's worse: forcing myself to actually play a horror game for the first time in my life even though I don't like them; or not experiencing the game based on my favorite themes in person that I waited two years for.

It took a great bit of struggle, and it was by far the most terrifying experience I've ever had, but I played SOMA from start to finish the way it was meant to be played (alone at night etc), and god I'm glad I forced myself through it. Even though I developed unreasonable expectations over the time prior to launch, they were all met. I wasn't disappointed, in fact, I was surprised at how great the experience was (apart from the horror). I really enjoyed the atmosphere, I loved the world it's set in (there are so many awesome things about Pathos-II it's unbelievable), and, most importantly, I was amazed by the story.

I still keep coming back to SOMA, keep thinking about it. I even decided to replay the first few parts recently because I love being in Pathos-II so much. In my opinion, the way SOMA ended does allow a further continuation of the story, and I really hope Frictional does something with it. I need more SOMA.

TLDR: WAU that was good.

This is the best interactive story I have ever read, and I did read quite a few (not on Steam).

If you are fascinated in Robots and Artificial Intelligence / Artificial Consciousness, I highly recommend buying this game.

Also, just in case someone from Choice of Games is reading this, _please_ make a Choice of Robots 2. Or at least a DLC. I would love to see more of this game's world, maybe beyond Chapter 7.
