Let's take a moment and ask ourselves:
Why did we check out this game?
Is it because the prefix "Under-" made us think the game belonged somewhere it does not actually belong?
Probably.
Underhero isn't related to Undertale at all.

Instead, it does its own thing, said thing being a combination of the gameplay of Paper Mario, Mario & Luigi, Mother 3 and Chrono Trigger. Is that a good thing? Heck yes it is. Should you associate it with Undertale? Not really, no, but let me be cynical, you probably wouldn't have checked out the game if it wasn't for the Prefix. Me? I saw a promising preview on youtube myself and checked it out. What can I say? The game is absolutely amazing!

Anyway, let's get past this banter.
In Underhero you take on the role of an Underling who killed the legendary hero and ends up becoming said hero yourself.
As you explore the worlds you can chat with your enemies before fighting, since you're just one of them too until you betray them. Of course, for some reason they won't let you pass peacefully anyway and you'd have to bribe them in order to not hurt them. Does this affect the endings?.... not that I noticed.
also, Enemies you beat or bribed won't return to be refought. This means there's a set amount of Experience to be collected and a max level you may reach. In turn, the game is also balanced.

The battle system is a RIOT, let me tell you.
You got your basic sword, you got a shield, you got a slingshot and a hammer.
Additionally, you can jump and duck to dodge attacks.
How do these attacks happen?... in Real time.
You and your enemy are limited by a Stamina bar, which will act similar to the charging Active-time-battle bar in Chrono Trigger. Attacks also happen in real time, you don't need to wait your turn, but you will interrupt the enemy's attacks and vice versa should you hit during their windup. In turn, this means the hammer attack, which is a very heavy hitting attack, with a long windup can easily be countered by being attacked. Blocking just before being hit results in a counter that incapacitates the enemy as well. Beyond that it's like in Mario & Luigi, the enemy telegraphs their attack and you can jump over them, duck under them, block them or counter them. It's a lot of fun.

I could say so much more now but this is all you need to know:
The gameplay is great,
the game is about 13-ish hours long,
sadly a bit lacking in replay value,
but it makes up for it with the story and the characters.
I can DEFINITELY recommend it very much.
Though I do hope for some DLC or a New Game+ at some point... that's how good it is! It just ended a bit too soon.

Does anyone remember "Trilby - The Art of Theft"?
While totally different, that's what this reminded me of first.

Anyway, all you need to know is already on the shop page here,
if it looks interesting to you, you can't go wrong with it.
It's meant to be played in Co-op Mode though,
make sure you have a friend or two to play with.
You can play it alone but it might be very challenging then,
as only one agent will move at a time.

Additionally here's a personal opinion:
They offer "deer" as a species option.
If that doesn't sell you on it, I don't know what will!
(But seriously, thanks for having that in there.
Arguably some people may complain about the absence of reptiles or birds,
but eh, I'm just happy about the options they do have~.)

This game simply defies any description.
Put on your disbelief suspenders and take it all in very slowly.
Enjoy it. It's definitely worth it.

Here's the short version:
I played a lot of this on my phone before,
and never actually had to spend anything on it,
yet here I am, rather powerful.
Well - the way farming works changed since then.
You can't just get the Epics you want by farming,
you have to master levels on Onyx difficulty to get them as 100% guaranteed rewards.
But if you have the patience (I had the patience.) it's definitely worth it.
Feels very satisfying to obliterate high level pay-to-win players, really. ~

In order not to spoil anything, I may only say so much.
I came for the dragons but I stayed for the feels.

After thoroughly enjoying myself it's definitely time to write a review for everyone to see! (I hope)
... what are you waiting for? Get this game. If you seem the least bit interested in it I can assure you it's amazing.
What's that? You want a review first? Oh... Well okay then, I guess I could do that.
Except then I'd be here for a very long time - and I really wanna keep playing this game - so please bear with me here.
It's a good game, there's WAY too much to explain, if anything about it seems interesting to you, do yourself a favour and get it. It's just great and all the chance and possibilities involved make it so replayable, it won't be boring EVER.
Note that I've been playing in Adventure Mode on Classic Difficulty only, and I can also recommend that, it's just the right amount of challenging.

I'd give this TWO thumbs up but one will have to do. Cheers.

This game is hard for me to really review.
I just played through it in one sitting which really REALLY isn't something you should be doing by all means,
unless you really love the gameplay.

I didn't hate it at all, it's pretty solid, but since I did play it all in one go, the concept got a bit tired, and there are also the recap-levels at the end of every stage making you go through the same things again rather than the - partially - inventive level ideas coming to a peak of some sorts.

One smaller thing is, that the Music got a bit repetitive and felt out of place in some Eras, so prepare your own Music if you plan on playing it for longer.

Another smaller thing is that some levels are pretty much impossible to do within the Medal time limits for some levels as they require creatures to spawn. You'll have to get lucky or plan an elaborate path to get those medals.

Other than that really it's what it looks and sounds like.
It's like Agar.io but actually well made and not contaminated with Memes.
It's like Katamari games but 2D and with a topdown view, and you don't really roll around.
Some levels can even be compared to the Cell phase in Spore!
It's very solid, very nice, there's.. some variety. Get it during a sale, I guess.

Stardew Valley: 100 Hours Later!

After 100 hours of playtime and reaching Year 3 I thought "Yeah, give it a review".
It's not gonna be a proffessional review, and also not very long.

Stardew Valley is an experience I can recommend to anyone who's already interested with the premise.
If you don't have patience you're not gonna enjoy it very much, that much should be clear.

After 2 Years I finished most of the superficial Milestones, (I could go into detail here but that would require people to know what I'm talking about), but I did so with a loooooot of luck and experiences from games such as Harvest Moon (What everyone says this is) and Rune Factory (A Harvest Moon "Spin off" with more wacky fantasy-y characters and a bigger focus on fighting), but with a little bit of "getting into it without getting bored" I'd say anyone could pull it off.

Most of the big goals still lay ahead: Complete the whole shipment list, fish all fish, artifacts, minerals, make friends with everyone, cooking, crafting, all of that. That's good, it means the motivation is still there... sort of, even though, you know, the whole game is a weekly case of groundhog day, in a way. There certainly are derivations depending on the weather or some other variables, but in the end, much like a Groundhog day, YOU decide how you spend your time and what you get to experience, and some elements will always be random, such as the layout of the Mines/Skull Cavern.

Besides that, there will probably be Mods and Content updates in the future to make it last even longer!
If 100% Completion is worth it? I don't know! I believe the motivation of the game itself is proportional to the stuff that's left to be done, so the more things to do, the better, and Stardew Valley certainly gives you a lot of that!
If you want to harvest crops, take care of animals, go fishing, go mining/fighting, socialize with the townsfolk, and more, the game delivers! So get it now, I mean you were on the shop page for a reason, right? Something caught your interest ;3

Reseña de acceso anticipado
This is a Review written for Version 0.2.4b, it may be updated at a later point, like the game itself.
Let's assume, since their second version numbers are the "content" updates, that the game is around 20% done so far.

I can say this after my first... roughly 4 hours:

Graphics:
Bright, Colourful, Cartoony and even in dark areas it's cheerful, rather than gloomy.
Hard to comment on it, since it's not for everyone. I personally like it, but that's just me,
in fact, it's what drew my attention to the game. It's very visually appealing to me.
Though, you'll have to see for yourself. If you like the way it looks in the screenshots,
it certainly won't disappoint you.

Sound Design:
While the slimes' squeaks are rather adorable and the "totally tense suspense music" pops in each time danger is around,
it does get repetitive after a while of playing. It did not stick with me either, so either it's not too repetitive or not very memorable. This may just be the only actual criticism I have though and it might certainly change over time.
However: The sounds besides the background music are pretty clearly indicating when something is around. The Squishing of slime or "Bawk bawk bawk"ing of chickens helps very much should you e.g. look for chickens in tall grass.

Gameplay:
It's exactly what you think it is: You catch slime, feed them, they produce the goods you can sell, you do so and move on. Your Stats and Abilities can also be upgraded with said money, making the aforementioned process a bit easier.
Let me move the negative-ish things out of the way first:
If you wish to plant both fruits and veggies in your garden though, and your slimes only eat fruit, your veggies don't really go anywhere. I guess you can always take them with you and feed wild slimes, but I didn't see much point in that either, but since there is no way to sell them either, they just use up Silo space instead. Maybe I'll have slimes that like veggies at some point and then I'm happy I kept them, I don't know.
Another minor annoyance would be wild slimes getting in your way as you try to collect ... pretty much anything. Especially the big slimes will get in your way. A lot. Though.. that's really as far as it goes.
Respawn rates might also be a little bit.. unbalanced currently, seeing that I got about 50 Chickens within 3 minutes taking a tour through the Garden part of the Ranch after buying it. That's not really a complaint because it's very helpful if you need meat, but it might just make everything a little bit too easy.
Now the good things:
Besides my minor complaints here and there I had a looooot of fun. It's relaxing and the whole exploration aspect makes finding something new, something interesting much more rewarding, even more so when a pop up informs you what you even got/did just now, yes, there are ingame Achievements.
For the sake of not spoiling anything (since you don't really read reviews after getting and playing the game, now do you?) I can't really say what I enjoyed the most, but it was great. Really great.

And for an Early Access title? This is how it should be. It's playable, I didn't encounter any bugs and it's a lot of fun.

I'm pretty sure it's not a game that'll die either, this will be finished over time and it will only get better,
and knowing that, I can wholeheartedly recommend it, if anything you've already seen on the store page appeals to you.
