While fundamentally simple and straight forward, Shelter sets the stage for you to feel what it is like to be in the middle of the food chain. It is an experience that you have to be willing to assemble in your own mind. You make your own story in the minimialist framework that is provided. So if you're someone who likes to ponder what ifs, such as life from other prespectives, then this is a great game to try out. If that's not your thing, then you're just wasting your money.
