PAYDAY is a series of PVE games. Heisters, the players, play against computer-controlled cops and other antagonists, or the AI for short.

The third PAYDAY game, PAYDAY 3, is a constant barrage of small downgrades compared to the previous games

The heists of PD3 blow. Not one of them beats the worst heist of PD:TH or PD2. They are unimaginative and bring nothing original to the series. Want good heists? Play the other games.

The enemies of PD3 blow. They were carefully modified by game journalist Miodrag Miodragevich to be worse than in PD:TH in PD2. AI was never PAYDAY's forte but holy ♥♥♥♥ you guys, somehow, it's worse than it was last decade. I cannot go one gameplay session, one loud heist, without the enemies being utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ compared to PAYDAY: The Heist, a 2011 game. Every single one of them is either useless or incapable of being efficient due to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reaction time of several seconds they now have.

The artstyle is gross. The visuals are gross. Every heist has the same two recycled assets shared with eachother. The characters look horrid. The lighting is worse than in PD:TH, a 2011 game.

The music sounds like you fed Simon Viklund's work through a generative AI to make more of it.

The servers are instable whenever there are a thousand players to populate them. Every update that releases is basically unplayable on release. The game breaks when players play it. What the ♥♥♥♥?

When you put them all together the result in this: people do not want to play the game. Why would they? Why do I? You buy this new game with a new price tag but it's not better than the old games you've already bought, what the hell is the point of buying it?

Skip it! Go play with your friends on the older games, you'll have a better time.
