DO NOT BUY WITH LOW SPEC PC
I would really like to play this game. But even at the lowest settings, this game plain refuses to run above 30 FPS beyond day 2. I know my specs aren't the greatest (i7 6700k, Palit 1080), but with some careful tweaking I could run Ghost of Tsushima at 60...

Besides that...

The AI pathfinding is awful. The movement of the units is janky as hell, especially vehicles suck. They get stuck on each other when moving in formation, the animations suck. the vehicles should feel like they have a weight behind them, have an accurate turning radius, etc... Same goes for choppers the instant acceleration is just weird.

Why would one insurgent with an AR be stronger than three military operatives?

The diplomacy is lackluster, and could be a very interesting aspect if it went beyond "pay us so that we don't shoot you"

Some aspects could use automatisation - it's tedious to have to fly a chopper with a technician around and build resource points in between actual gameplay. I'm tired of this on game 1, I would just loathe it even later on. This could be handled automatically, by having an unit that does this automatically after being built and assigned zones to work on.

Beyond that, this is an awesome game. Freeform base building is something more RTS games need. (Maybe a gamemode with one day/half a day for simple base-building would be nice?) Evacuating civilians from infected zones and building refuge camps is extremely satisfying. Culling the infected by sending chopper away teams and rooftop emplacements is something I never thought I'd see in RTS games given how they usually limit themselves. Please fix the optimalisation issues so that the game can handle more units on-screen. I'd love to play more.

Stick Fight: The Game is still infinitely better.

Perfect for a pixelated turn-based-tactics with perhaps a few minor gripes. Devs are also active, and fix issues, at least at this moment. Would recommend for everybody who looks in the turn-based category, especially for one character micro lovers

Constant updates ruin the built-in mod launcher. Game doesn't detect or run mods that worked well enough last playthrough, despite the updates not making any significant game changes.
