Feels like blackjack but with modifiers you can use to rig it slightly more in your favor, so basically slightly more fair blackjack. I'm still early in, but it's fun so far. I don't think it'll become my go-to roguelite by any stretch, but it's a nice diversion from my usuals.

I'm a sucker for parry-based combat systems. The world, artstyle, lore, everything is SICK. Definitely pick this one up.

If you enjoy metroidvania games with a TON of hidden secrets and puzzles, definitely pick up this game. The "first" ending is short, it took me ~5 hours to get it, but there's so much in the game that I haven't even scratched the surface on.

The soundtrack and art style are also phenomenal, creating a wonderful atmosphere that's mysterious and spooky.

As someone who really just could not get into Hades 1, this scratches that itch I've been wanting to get that Hades 1 just couldn't for me. The addition of the mana system makes combat flow in a much more smooth and intuitive way,, and everything just kind of "fits" together nicely, which is something I didn't really feel with Hades 1's general flow.
I'm really excited to see how Hades 2 ends up on its release, everything here feels good for the most part.
