For what charm the aesthetics of this game has, they're overshadowed by a mess of frustrations hiding under the guise of survival horror. The greatest threat in this game is not any of its ghosts but its pervasive control issues. There's a good game located within this framework but it really needed another technical tune-up before it could really reach its full potential. That much is obvious from persistent issues like the game relaunching itself every time I try and close it, forcing me to task end it so it doesn't open itself as soon as it closes.
