To those who have quested long and hard, for the perfect rogue-like experience that many have sought after, this may JUST be the game for you, finally after all of these long hard painful years of trying to find the perfect rogue-like game, what better one than to revision the one that started it all? I have gone through Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup, Original Rouge, Rogue Wizards, Barony, Delver, and many more, sure they all have wonderful ways to explore a randomly generated dungeon, but something still needed to scratch a certain itch that I can not seem to figure out. Then seeing this in all of its First Person Glory, from changing the graphics to textures, to symbols, ASCII, music, and much more, as I type this, I feel a nostalgic tear forming in my eyes as I finally think my quest for the perfect Rogue-like adventure may have finally been fulfilled. GLORY TO ROGUE-LIKE GAMES!!

At last, at long finally last, a roguelike that hits me in all the right areas, hunger, skill trees, randomized dungeons, endless varieties of challenges that await beyond every corner, the ability to toggle between tiles, or the good ol days of ASCII. When I bought this game and played it for the first few hours, I wanted to cry tears of joy that my nearly endless searching for the perfect rougelike game has finally been shown to me. Other games that I have played all had their charms, their styles, and their own way to enjoy roguelikes. But something about them just didnt have a certain...."feel" is the only way I can describe it. Dungeonmans was a game I played for quite a few hours yes but I felt myself willing to shelf it away with the other games. Kingsway has its nostalgic charm I wont deny it of that, but something about it I feel its missing. But now I can finally rest easy knowing that thanks to those who love this genre style of game have made a treasure to behold for everyone who enjoys roguelike to its fullest degree and challenge cause this game delivers it in full.

Early Access Review
Let me first begin this by saying that this game.....gah my word I can't even begin to think of words to say due to being speechless. In the course of many games that I have spent many years playing, from Kingsway, to Cthon and many other famous roguelike games, this one hits quite alot of good notes that I have been looking for in the next game to keep my mind occupied for hours on end. As many reviews have said this might as well be the rival for Diablo and it deserves it in my opinion. Sure there are quite alot (and I mean ALOT) of different combinations to go through with the attacks, the way they act, the passive abilites as well as the toggled abilities and I feel that helps keep players on their toes when in a roguelike game. The floors are randomly generated and Im certain that there are plenty of enemies to go around. Sure it may get a bit stale seeing the same ones over and over again but you can only put so many different enemies in a certain environment. The random loot from common to legendary is of course a very nice touch as well as trying to obtain the powerful primary weapons that give you bonuses, and to upgrade them really blew my mind when I havnt seen that many games do this. This game could compete against a game called: Rogue Wizards. The new formula that Im most enjoying in roguelike games now is the fact that: when one uses an ability or weapon, the more powerful it becomes. I find myself that that should be true in most games now. Sure the crafting mechanics might be a nagging chain due to needing 10 of these to make 5 of these to make 1 of this, but when you want to make godlike weapons to completely destroy your enemies you MUST put effort into it. With all that said and done I can not wait for this game to fully be released and give those new or old people who are into roguelikes a pleasant experience. My only slight nag in this game is that only 3 classes to choose from, hopefully in the near or far future there will be many class choices to choose from and make this game more interesting.

To any who is a fan of Rogue-Like or Rogue-like games, this one is for you, and for those who have a big creativity to make anything possible? This game is for you! Want to make a wizard who shoots out magical snot? You can! Want to make a pokemon like character to fight? You can! The possibilities are endless for this game and the 7 years of making this game possible is well worth it.
