Great game!

Received because I pre-ordered, yet I still feel like I was robbed.

Do not buy anything related to this game for at least one to two years. You know how Paradox is.

An excellent game if you can afford the extortionate DLC. Unique but mediocre without the DLC, though.

New Update has fixed a lot of problems, and the DLC added a lot of functionalities that are great improvements.

I can now recommend this game.

Nice DLC, railroads are amazing! However, I would very much appreciate it if Paradox would stop changing their mind over the theme of the game every expansion, even in this one some nations have gained very real and grounded trees, whereas others have focus trees resembling comic-book stereotypes that turn their countries into a giant joke. It's very strange to see fascist New Zealand as the literal prank "Kiwi Empire" while the Soviet Union gets turned into a dystopian slaughterhouse that you'd feel bad for laughing at.

Also, Italy? I will probably be living on the Moon before Italy gets a focus tree. Hard to believe that countries like Estonia that cease to exist the moment the game actually starts have a focus tree and Italy doesn't. Paradox must have had a bad work trip there or something.

Portraits are cool, everything else is a complete waste of money.

A bit buggy and definitely gets pretty laggy in the late game, but situation has been steadily improving with regular patches and great expansions. Overall a very good game with an even better mod community.

Despite the fact that this game is absolutely ♥♥♥♥ without the extortionate DLC, it is very, very good once you've spent your entire life savings buying all of them.

Over 2000 hours in this game and I appreciate Paradox moving in the direction of actually making this game challenging (and not stupidly easy) like a Grand Strategy should be.
