The gameplay
The gunplay and movement feel almost spot on, except when you get stuck on other players. Also, when you play as one of the slower characters, the game needs to have increased out-of-combat running speed. Additionally, if grappling hooks could better maintain momentum, the movement would feel more fluid and overall better.

Progression:
The upgrading and progression systems seem to be directly inspired by Warframe, and it works well.

Bosses:
The Colossus can be quite fun to figure out, but once you break all the weak points, it doesn't explain well enough what you need to target next.

Unfortunately, the Instance Dungeon bosses (on normal mode) pretty much follow the same mechanics: Damage Boss > Kill Orb > Damage Boss > Kill Orbs > Kill Boss. Sometimes the mechanic replaces the orbs with minions linked to the boss, with very few deviations.

One thing about bosses that I feel needs work is the damage resistance on Colossus. It needs to be explained and shown better visually, especially for different bullet types and elemental damage. I suggest something that shows reduced damage, like a slightly grayed-out damage number for using the wrong element. For bullet types, make an icon next to damage numbers and gray that out too if it's reduced.

Drop rates:
Drop rates feel slightly too low, considering you can't trade. This is especially true when you need something to drop at a low chance and then kill a boss for another low-rate drop. Items that are needed, such as Catalyst, Energy activators, Inventory space, and Descendant slots, are all hard to get if you even can get them. Considering there is no current event that gives any of these things.

Crafting:
Time to craft stuff is one of the things that rubs me the wrong way. This is a system that shows Nexon being up to no good yet again, milking players. Instead, they should copy the good things from Warframe and improve on them, leaving the bad ones behind. One should ask themselves, "Is this a good gameplay mechanic?"

Story:
As for the story and voice acting, I skipped everything because the voice acting sounds like AI. The only voice acting that was remotely good was from the lunatic bosses that all have a personality like the Joker.

Visuals:
Visually, the game is good-looking since it's on the Unreal Engine. But this is also a flaw since it makes the game feel like every tech demo of the Unreal engine you've seen before.

This game has great potential, but it still needs some polishing. Unfortunately, with the short attention span of gamers these days, I'm not sure if the developers have polished it enough before the launch. Only time will tell. I'll continue playing until I've beaten most of the hard-mode bosses at least.

Helldivers 2 is an answer to the questions.
What if Michael Bay decided to make a game that's set in the Starship Troopers Universe?

Imagine that you're the average soldier who is sent to a planet to clear out an infestation.
The only way to do this is by using EVERY weapon made on planet Earth and above! to do this job.
"With Great Power comes Great Responsibility" Does not apply here...!
Call in Nukes! Orbitals cannons!, Massive Carpet Bombs, and Weaponry that gives enough firepower to feel like a god!
Oh ya.. And friendly fire is on!
Luckily for us Super Earth has enough lemmings to throw into the meat grinder!

If you can grab 3 of your friends, you will be in for a blast literally.
The Joy of listening to your friends scream in panic when they run into a new monster they haven't seen before, that's trying to run them over is just pure bliss.
The sound of the shock and awe, when they see a Hell-bomb or a 500 KG. bomb the first time!
Or the Frenzy mode people get into when they equip an autocannon and you grab their backpack to reload them faster and they start going full ham...

Ahhh... so many glorious ways of enjoying democracy getting spread.

I've enjoyed Helldivers 2 and had some of my best memorable video game moments in it.
Love the game to the point I even got extra copies of the game so I could play with my friends,
I also supported Arrowhead by actually buying some of the war bonds because I felt they deserved it and still do.

The only thing I feel that's missing is an emote that allows you to pull out a picnic table with 4 chairs that then allow you all to take a sip of the oh-so-sweet Liber-tea.
