343i is definitely listening to their fanbase, and deserve some much-needed time off for the Holidays, just like we do. I think they'll make some more changes in the near future to the Battle Pass progression system -I hope?!- but beyond that I have been... infinitely, surprised by this MP beta!

I am seriously excited for the campaign to release, and can't wait to see what they've done for one of the best game franchises ever to exist.

The nostalgia is strong with this one.

Beat the Cabal, kicked the Hive's a$$, wiped the floor with the Fallen, only to get squished into Oblivion by falling off a ledge that was three feet tall.

I've always enjoyed the various Tom Clancy games, like Rainbow Six, Splinter Cell and more, but Wildlands is one of the best. While it's not 100% optimized (I mean, barely 70fps stable with a Ryzen 5 2600x and an EVGA RTX 2080. Da frik?) it's still a gorgeous game.

Yes, it's repetitive. Yes, you will get owned by 1,000 bad guys if you move faster than a cricket, but it's fun. I mean, give me another game that has the Great Michael Ironside in it, back in the saddle of Sam Fisher, during one of the most impossible stealth missions in a modern AAA title. I'll wait.

Case in point: Get the game on sale, shoot bad guys in the face, rinse and repeat.

Review Update 11/23/16 - Getting a badge... And more skins.

Opened Competition, got a skin.

Got more skins, and then I saw an awesome knife skin.

Sold everything to get more skins; died when using them.

Overall I've been pleasantly surprised with this game. Granted, it's certainly got its fair share of glitches, bugs, irritating moments, jerk hackers and the like, but it's decent enough.

With the latest update on the way I'm sure things will be even more interesting, with certain drop rates increasing, harder crafting, and full gear sets geared toward specific attributes.

I rarely play with a squad, preferring instead to go solo and tackle the city on my own. I've played with a few friends, in the Dark Zone and out, and I will admit it does make the game both more fun, and more challenging. Challenging mode for missions is probably the hardest thing I've ever tried to do in a game, with enemies having all the tactical awareness of a military general.

Also, I have a billion hats, and I REALLY like hats. So it's a win.

10/10 would play and die again.
