Ziemniaki dokładnie myjemy, kroimy na pół i wraz z rozmarynem przekładamy do słoika. Zalewamy wodą z solą i odstawiamy w zaciemnione miejsce na minimum półtora tygodnia. Z tak ukiszonych ziemniaków można zrobić także zupę, placki albo frytki. Ziemniaki przed kiszeniem można ugotować al dente.
