Absolutely the best game series I have ever played. The first game may have been better in some respects, but it is still an overall amazing experience. Slightly repetitive boss battles, but they are still each unique in some way.

Some sections may be difficult, but don't let this stop you from trying this game. If you DO get stuck, you can summon other people to help, and it really isn't that hard. you simply have to be patient about when to attack and when to block/dodge, and learn the patterns of especially difficult enemies or bosses. It may sound boring on paper, but it is very rewarding when you succeed after failing 20 times. Summoning other people should be a last resort IMO, unless you are just in it for the coop, it takes away from that feeling when you finally succeed, and honestly makes the game very easy.

Rewarding, fun gameplay and a deep, mysterious backstory. Boss encounters are at times repetitive, but it changes up enough to stay interesting.

Took me around 60 hours to finish the first playthrough without dlc, definitely worth the 40$
