This game isn't worth your time if you wanna know the story you can watch game movie on YouTube cause the cutscenes are great. There is almost zero handmade content like in Batman Arkham games you just traverse from one point to another to shoot some boring monsters. Even when I started to like flow of the game before every mission you get a fullscreen of a loot that you get for the mission even if mission was 5 minutes long and it just destroys flow. There is a beautiful environment, great cutscenes, great character design, great graphics but gameplay just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks and I think everyone got sick of the multiverse ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Great remake for a great game! If you like the original Dead Space then you're gonna like a remake even more. Every aspect of the game has been improved. Ishimura now have a lot of sounds, something is constantly scratching somewhere, someone screaming or whisper. The story was remade for a more detailed lore and speaking protagonist and the changes that were made are great, a lot of details that you can simply skip in original because they were in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ notes are now in the dialogues.

But there are a few drawbacks. The first one is navigation. Why not make the navigation like in the second game where you can locate shop, your mission or bench? Because it's very frustrating switch missions in the map menu and the inability to find a bench or a shop. I hope that in coming updates developers can add these features. And the second one is Isaac's reactions for events or the dialogues when he stands without any movement and at the same moment can scream in horror or express a lot of emotions. That's just looks very weird. But overall this drawbacks is nothing on overall a great game.

The game is good, but there is a BUT, a lot of them actually. First of all game looks and sounds absolutely fantastic and overall the perfomance can be pretty solid in one part of the game in the other pretty poorly.

The game itself remembers a lot of Dead Space but more cinematic and with less exploration. If you remember Dead Space story you can easily predicts what's waiting for you, overall it's okay, not bad and not great, but there is also a lot world building like in Dead Space. The most controversial part is combat unlike Dead Space there is focus on melee combat and dodge, but the dodge done so strange, the game definetely misses strafe because when you encounter multiple enemies you can face serious problems with beating them all.

And now for the bad parts of the game. Checkpoints are bad, in the game you can save manually at almost any time but if you save the game it and continue it later you will be downloaded to your last checkpoint and not at the point where you saved. The game have a really bad enemy variety (about 7 types for a whole game). I completed the whole game with standing and listening to audio logs because when I press button to return they shut down, but later I discoverd that you can actually listen to audio logs in background you just need to press button to close inventory which is not always intuitive. Healing takes about 5 seconds and every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time your character looks at it like he sees it for the first time and you can't heal in the battle, because you'd be dead before you finish healing. Changing weapons also a pain in the butt, weapons here are platforms and you change not weapon but a platform on the grip and it took a lot of timing. In Dead Space all the boxes, lockers and items were brightly illuminated so you can find them easily and there is it's a small indicator so it makes it difficult to find. Also the game have enemy who catch you by his head and there are a lot of them at the beginning and it's very frustrating. In the end game throws at you a lot of strong enemies which also made it very frustrating. Also the game is not scary as it was promoted, it's not scary at all, yeah the game has intense moments but not scary.

You can see how much there is very frustrating moments but still I liked the game, yeah it's not gread but pretty solid for me, and I really hope that developers can fix some of that moments in future patches and DLC

Bought the game on release but played it just recently and it's absolutely amazing. It's one of the best games I played and just a breath of fresh air for the fan of the Alien franchise after a lot of crappy games. The atmosphere is amazing, there are a lot of details that I only noticed after rewatching the original film. Attention to details is on another different level.

I really don't like the games where you have to run from the enemies and you can't fight back and this game actually allows you to do all of that! It's a must have game for the fans of the universe and for the horror fans.
