This game is truly a joy to play. I have plans on going for 100% completion. Not only are the achievements really colorful and attractive, they also count on your profile (DOUBLE BONUS).

The only problem is however, the game will crash approximately every 20-30 minutes. So it is very important to save your game.

Perhaps in future, we will see some other interesting themes. To name off a few that I would personally find really awesome would be as follows.

Viking Themed
Wild West - Cowboys etc
Super Hero .. Super Villain Themed
Horror Movie .. Paranormal themed
Anything Cutesy. :)
Cars and Motorcycles
UFO's and Aliens
Folklore themed eg: Big Foot, Fairies, Gnomes etc
Mythical Creatures

These are just examples of possible future themed DLCs.

I definitely recommend this. It offers relaxation and pretty good music.

Not simply a search object type of game for this one. You have several puzzles within the picture to solve in order to find all of the items that you need. Definitely an interesting twist to the previous titles that i have played. Well done!

The game is not bad.. but achievements don't count on your steam profile. And for the love of god... please add a volume control to the game.

THE ONE I WAS WAITING FOR SINCE Early Access. :)

In-game since early access I go by the name of † Billy "TΉΣ KID" † in Hunt Showdown. And I have often said in a joking way that they need a Billy The Kid skin. :) In fact, 3 days prior to seeing this, I said "Gosh, if they brought out a skin and called him "The Kid" and then... its here.

So of COURSE i will give this a positive review. The ONLY thing i have a little problem with I suppose, is that it looks more like Marty McFly from Back to the Future rather than Emilio Estevez from Young Guns who portrayed Billy The Kid perfectly.

But having said that, I am stoked and thrilled for this skin.

Where do I start. It's an MMO I really thought that might be the next best thing. I am sure many of us had thought this also. But sadly, this is not the case. I mean... I don't hate the game. I had a lot of fun (majority) of the time. However, there are many things wrong with it.

Started out playing .. and fortunately, we chose a low populated server so we never experienced the long queue times. That being said, we started playing. The game looked beautiful. It brought back fond memories of when it all started in WoW back in vanilla. That same excitement of something new ... something shiny.

Then it dawned on me when I started noticing the lack of quests. Hmm...now coming from someone who is experienced in the MMORPG world .. i found this to be strange. I've played thousands of hours in games such as WoW, The Secret World, Age of Conan, LOTRO, Rift, ESO, Star Wars The Old Republic etc. So I am very familiar with them, which is why it surprised me when there was a huge lack of quest. You get a main quest ... some side quests, and mission board quests. Now here is the thing. My husband and I play the game and almost always, we are on different quests because the board randomises quests. Even those with the same name, mine is in a different location. (Super frustrating)

Quests are pretty much all the same. "Loot chest for quest item." Kill and skin a wolf for a claw. It gets old. There is a quest to Cule 8 sheep. We travelled across multiple maps and found NO sheep. WHERE THE HELL ARE THOSE DAMN SHEEPS!! Did they forget to add them into the game?? What kind of idiotic design is this? How can you complete your quest?

The only thing that is good in the game besides it being new is the exploration. The gathering of materials is heaps of fun and the way the craft/gathering levels up, but then its hindered by the fact that this game has encumbrance. For an MMO this idea is flawed. Imagine this. Hubby and I were doing a quest and had to fight groups plus a boss and we both became encumbered while in combat. What the actual heck? Yes, you can eventually upgrade the size you can carry by levelling your craft and making another bag. But with the amount of stuff you need to carry, you run out of space. Speaking of space, you have storage in towns. But keep in mind that storage in one location is not linked to another. This can suck when it comes time to craft.

You have to run everywhere, there are no mounts. Sure, there are fast travel but at the cost of Azoth. You earn them by completing quests, resource collecting and killing mobs has a minor chance of dropping them too.

The biggest issue for me is the fact that the game has literally became unplayable. We ventured out of the first map into another then all the issues started. Our first time, it all ran smooth. But a recent update... its unplayable. Getting micro freezes every 2-5 seconds. its awful. Its BEYOND awful. My rig is decent and have no issues on most games on ultra. And like I said, it was decent before some update and now its unplayable.

I want to love this game. I do like it though. I want to see this game grow ... i want it to have the issues ironed out. I haven't given up. I will revisit it again in the near future .. but until then, i cannot recommend this game. I will perhaps change my review if or when the game improves and the bugs get rectified, server stability is fixed etc.



Pros
- Good music

- Nice visuals

- Decent voice acting

- Resource gathering and crafting

- Ability to place a camp near dangerous places to respawn if you die

- In-game Achievements

- Steam Achievements

- Character customisation however its lacking and needs work for improvement.


Cons
- Server queue on high pop servers

- Poor performance and game-breaking stuttering (after update) and in certain locations

- Difficult to quest in a group because most of the time you are on a different quest to each other

- HUGE grind for resources and the crafting items are not exactly that great

- Having a carry weight limit (However its upgradeable)

- Banks/Storage not being linked so each town will have a new storage.

- Lack in combat skills

- Inability to use a crafting station due to it not being high enough Tier. I have all this ore i cannot smelt until somehow it gets upgraded (not by me but i assume from the controlling guild/faction? Unsure about how this one works.

- The game not being clear in some aspects

- Mostly a PvP orientated game and not really for PvE gamers

- Lack of mobs variety.

- Many quests are the exact same as the map previous. Nothing new or exciting to look forward to. The world feels empty due to no quest pickups like most mmorpg's, save for a few in towns.

- No mounts

- Micro transactions for cosmetic skins

- Lack of clothing styles. Needs an ability like a transmog to allow you to make any armour or outfit as your cosmetic outfit without hindering your armour stats. Some basic stuff actually look better than your actual armour.

- Repair requires way too many materials (repair parts) that you can get from salvaging armour and weapons. It costs way too much. One armour kit requires 40 of them. And if you repair ALL then it uses that PLUS extra repair parts.

- No vendor. Come on .. we want to sell junk to make money and repair our gear rather than spending our repair parts. Sure, its handy if your chopping axe breaks and you need to fix it out in the wild, but please add a way of fixing our stuff while in town.

- Fast Travel costs a bit too much.

- Can't swim in game.


The game needs work. I feel that it needed maybe another year in development. For a big company like Amazon, I feel that they could have done a lot better. The game feels half finished. And it feels like not enough effort was put into the game. Also I thought its worth mentioning, that when you are lvl 10, you will choose a faction. There are three sides. You can change it every 120 days. However, keep in mind that you can't be in a COMPANY (guild/kinship) with people in other factions. So if you decide to change once timer is up, you may be required to say goodbye to your COMPANY also. This is my understanding of how it works. Not a well thought through design if this is the case. :/

Short but fun. Find 100 mice and get some achievements but they don't count on your profile.

The game is cute, the music is great. The only beef I have with this game is that even though you can click on the area where the picture is different, if you are off the mark by a tiny hairline, it will register as a mistake so if you are going for gold, then you have to restart it again. apart from that, its cute. Also, another thing is that those achievements don't count toward your profile. I had to restart steam also to have the game register that i had gotten some of the achievements.

But for its price, the game is definitely worth it.

Short game of finding 100 snails. This one for me was probably one of the easiest. Decent music. Shame the achievements don't count toward your profile though.

This title forces you to play in a resolution of 1280 x 720, if you change it, the game will crash within 30 seconds or so. My first time attempting to play, it crashed on me about 4-5 times until I sort info on the discussion boards to learn why this is happening. I discovered other people having this issue and they also stated that the only way to stop it from crashing is to play it at it's default resolution. That alone was already a bit off-putting for me. But anyway, i decided to play it anyway.

I must say... the narration was terrible. I could barely understand the strong accent so subtitles would have helped out but unfortunately, there weren't any. For me, this game seemed pointless. There was absolutely nothing exciting about it. Within the first 15-20 minutes, I just wanted it to be over with. But I persevered to give the game a fair shot.

I finally got to the end and thought "Wow, this was all pointless and a complete waste of my time." Perhaps if the voice over wasn't so difficult to understand I might know a bit more about what is actually happening in this game. But I still don't think that could have saved me from the boredom I experienced throughout my game play of drizzlepath.

I will give the other ones a go because they are in my library, but I sincerely hope that they are a huge improvement from this one. I really do. This is the third game I am playing by this developer and I have given a positive review for those other two so far.

Also, I want to mention that there are no steam achievements in this game. Just as well I suppose because the last thing I had wanted was to stay in this game for any longer if i failed to get an achievement and had to go back.

Overall, for me it was bad. With being locked into that awful resolution and difficulty understanding the annoying voice-over and the game just seemingly being pointless, yeah, i would give this one a clear miss.

I would give this a 1/5 scoring.

I enjoyed this game. It was very relaxing and there are decent amount of steam achievements to collect also.

I did encounter a glitch in the first chapter though. The movement was glitched so you could not stop moving. By pressing S (which usually makes you walk backward) didn't seem to do anything. There was no way to stop so I just went with the flow until I completed the first chapter. I did not encounter this issue again in any of the other chapters.

The game has a save feature at the end of each chapter. If you miss any achievements, you can later load that chapter to complete those.

The game has a sprint feature which I am grateful for. Overall game play was a joy. The story was decent. and the visuals were pleasant. Music was very relaxing too, adding to the 'feel' of your experience.
