# Who am I?

Hey, I am Zephrous. Most people know me as Daniel3131, or Daniel should be fine. You can call me Zeph or D3 (D3 is an abbreviation of Daniel3131) as well.

# Why Zephrous, Daniel3131, etc. as your IGNs?

When it comes to creativity like name creation, I was totally bad at thinking unique (I was young and more of a rigid person back then) but looking back now, some of my aliases are actually decent so I did not blame myself for that lol.

There is no meaning on the name, "Zephrous". It is a fascinating username creation and idea that I think of when I was 13, I want some in-game names that sounds cool and unique. When I thought of "Zephrous", it really suits so I decided to pick it up. Fun fact, the word "Zephyr" is similar to my current username, it means the greek god of the west wind.

As for Daniel3131, it is just my real name and '31' is my favorite numbers. At that time, I felt like it did not sound good when I put 'Daniel31' so I just doubled my numbers. Daniel3131 sounded way better so I ended up use that as my username.

# About My Past Journey & Community Contributions

Retired Tutorial/CS:GO YouTuber and giveaway host back in early 2013 until end of 2019 who is now venturing on other content creation channels. At my peak, I had accumulated over 16.8k followers & 1 million+ of impressions (and at least 200k minimum, 500k average of total impressions per month).

I am also an ex-osu!catch player in Malaysia, top 1000 global ranking leaderboard and top 12 in Malaysia at my highest. Retired due to self-dissatisfaction and heavily lack of motivations.

Over those past few years, I came to a conclusion that doing and hosting giveaways are not the optimal way to boost my social engagements and follow base. Of course, there are more reasons I quit as well. One of the major reasons is because of toxicity and the amount of accumulated stress and pressure. There are few people who are so toxic and extremely ungrateful, do not care about my personal being and life as well since I am doing this to give back to the community. Personally I do not care about how much I did, more so I enjoy the process of seeing people happy after receiving their prizes. That was what I liked to do. I also do not enjoy doing giveaways as businesses so I quit. Currently, I had back to my root and do video content and live streams to keep up. I am happy with what I have now and I am telling you that doing giveaway is not a good investment if you want to be successful unless you have sponsors, brand deals, or supporters, or you are those rich people (oilers) lol.

Who knows when I will be coming back to the giveaway scenes, since I was doing it for such a long time. Definitely, there are others who can overtake us and continue the spirit of doing giveaways.. even though I did not like the direction of the giveaway scenes in recent times.

Anyway, life is uncertain and short. For me, it always has been a learning curve. I learned a lot of stuffs that I did not know, met with people online, hosted collaborative giveaways. It was a fun journey. I am glad that I am be able to move on from the place. Although I exited from the giveaway scenes ages ago and being a spectator until now, I still enjoy playing games like CS. After all, this is my place to stay. Never forget the root.
