Gori: Cuddly Carnage Review
Pawsitively Badass 😼

Pros
+Addicting fast-paced hack and slash combat
+Fun story lasting around 6+ hours to beat and around 20ish to 100%
+ Tons of enemy variety and unique bosses to fight
+Great platforming reminiscent of games like Sonic and Sunset Overdrive
+Decent amount of unlockables and customization's to find
+Fantastic soundtrack that could rival Doom
+Well optimized for PC

Cons
-Numerous bugs and the occasional crash but nothing game-breaking
-Pretty easy even on the hardest difficulty
-I can't stop making cat puns now lol

Conclusion
Maybe I'm just getting old but games like Gori: Cuddly Carnage really take me back. Gori feels inspired by the edgy mascot platformers of the early 2000s with a mix of games like DMC and Sunset Overdrive. The gameplay while simplistic, is very fast-paced and addicting. It's one of the very few games I went out of my way to 100%. There's just something so cathartic about shredding through hordes of undead unicorns like a furry little meat grinder while jamming out to this games amazing soundtrack and it had me grinning ear to ear throughout my entire playthrough.

The story itself is short but sweet with a cast of likable funny characters that will keep you invested till very the end. The game offers a fair amount of replayability however I think Gori would benefit greatly from adding some form of horde mode and/or online leaderboards. Also I should mention that I had quite a few bugs and some of the weirdest crashes I've ever seen in a game. Hopefully that all gets patched out soon. Overall while Gori is not a "purr-fect" game by any means, it's one where you can tell the developers put a lot of love and effort into making it. It may be a little rough around the edges but considering it's low asking price I feel a lot of it shortcomings can be overlooked and there is definitely a lot of stuff here to enjoy! I highly recommend giving it a try and can't wait to see what the devs have planned for Gori next!

Great game! It was short but sweet! Cant complain to much especially for free. My only recommendation would be to add a level editor to let people create and share their own levels for the game since it's pretty short.

Nothing crazy, maybe just let us place down the messes, change the placement of the staff plus security guard and other fun stuff like that. I think user created levels would make this game a 10 out of 10 and add so much replayability to it!

But as it stands, it's still a very fun little game and is definitely worth your time :P Highly recommend!

Bright Memory: Infinite Review
I play for the plot...

Pros
+Fast and fluid gameplay that makes you feel extremely badass
+Decent enemy variety and very unique boss battles
+Great looking graphics
+An incredible fun & goofy story that's so bad it's good
+Extremely well optimize for PC

Cons
-Game is extremely short only taking 2 to 3 hours at most
-Little in the way of replayability
-Missing the awesome combo system of the first game
-Lots of small bugs but nothing game-breaking

Conclusion
As with a lot of people here, I was one of the many who got this game for free because I bought the original game back in the day. I've been eagerly awaiting this game for a long time and TBH while for the most part It was worth it, there are still many aspects that feel lacking even compared to the first game.

Let's discuss the elephant in the room, the story. Honestly I'm one of the few who didn't mind the length of it. The plot of the game is as dumb and goofy as a live action anime adaptation. It's just so bad and I loved every minute of it! It's beyond "so bad it's good". So for me at least, I didn't feel the story itself needed extra padding. Honestly I think some parts could even be cut like the entire stealth section. No, I feel the length of this story is fine, what I think people really want is more replayability out of it.

Give us an arcade or time trial mode. Let us compete for best times or high scores with other people. Bring back the combo system of the first game that would grade us based on our kills. Release a horde mode or a Boss Rush mode and maybe open up Steam Workshop so modders can pump in new life to the game. Such small changes but could make this game infinitely replayable and so much better. Cuz outside of that this game is great!

The gameplay here feels very refined. It feels like an odd mix of Titanfall and Shadow Warriors gameplay and I love it. The game just makes you feel like a badass as you switch between slashing and shooting your foes. The game has pretty good enemy variety with some amazing boss battles!

Overall Bright Memory: Infinit is a good game with a lot of shortcomings but nothing I feel that couldn't be addressed with a patch or even some DLC. To my understanding this game was made by a very small group of Developers and for what they were able to accomplish is nothing more than amazing! I just think they may have focused a bit too much on visual Flair and Grand spectacles then replayability and hopefully they are willing to address it and add some more game modes or something to bring more life into the game. With that being said tho, even if I was to have paid full price, which is only $20 bucks, I would say it was definitely worth the wild ride the story took me on and I could definitely recommend it!

Death Stranding Review
C'mon Lou. One last delivery…

Pros
+Has one of the greatest stories I've ever experienced in all my years of Gaming
+A huge & expansive open world full of things to explorer & Easter eggs to find
+Amazing graphics with so much attention to detail
+Incredible sound design with a fantastic soundtrack
+Insanely well-optimized for PC

Cons
-The gameplay at its best is just tolerable and at its worst is a grind
-I am now addicted to Monster Energy drink

Conclusion
Okay let's just get this out of the way. Yes, the core gameplay of Death Stranding is not great. Honestly, it's grindy and mildlyinfuriating. At its best it's tolerable but at its worst it feels like a chore. Traversing the terrain can be a HUGE pain in the ass. It's pretty easy to see why a lot of people think Death Stranding is just a big budget walking Sim and it's gameplay is definitely not for everyone... but with that being said... This is one of the greatest games I have ever played in my life. Honestly I considered it a modern masterpiece no joke. The storytelling in Death Stranding is second to none hands down and holds the whole experience together. It's a witty, funny, intense, dramatic and very emotional experience. It's just an absolute rollercoaster of emotions. I really can't say too many video game stories have pushed me to tears before but this game really got to me especially near the end. It's just incredible. For me, it made the gameplay more tolerable, anytime it felt like I had an exceptionally tedious package to deliver the game would almost always reward me with a nearly equally long chunk of story to keep me invested in the world and all of its characters and after a while you really do start to feel like you're helping rebuild society in this desolate dying world they live in. That alone kept me pushing all the way through the game's 35+ hour campaign. Not to mention the game's superb graphics and it's incredible sound design & soundtrack. It's also extremely well optimized on PC to boot. Overall while Death Stranding isn't perfect in every aspect I still think the games superb storytelling and worldbuilding makes it a masterpiece. This game isn't Metal Gear or Silent Hill, Death Stranding is its own beast and to really enjoy this game you have to come down to its level and play by its rules but it's worth it in the end. If you just can't bring yourself to play the game then maybe just watch a Let's Play or all the cutscenes online. I just really think this game's story is something everyone should get to experience and I can highly recommend it! Now if you excuse me, I'm going to go get some more Monster Energy drink lmao

Early Access Review
Blade and Sorcery Review (Early Access)
Mods, Mods and more Mods

Pros
+Fun and addicting gameplay
+Graphics are pretty nice looking
+The weapon physics are solid
+The modding community for B&S is incredible and worth the purchase price alone

Cons
-Combat can feel pretty stiff
-Game is pretty buggy and can have some bizarre glitches at times
-Optimization can be pretty hit or miss

Early Access Wishlist
*Generally just more content, maybe like a story mode with RPG elements or something
*More advanced AI that use better tactics & maneuvers
*Steam Workshop support

Conclusion
By itself Blade & Sorcery is okay. You can definitely have a good time with the base game even if it can feel pretty stiff at times, but the true fun comes from the incredible modding community this game has. I'd be lying if I didn't say this game is pretty much a VR StarWars Lightsaber simulator with some extra bells and whistles lol. A lot of the mods are just wild and definitely help bring this game up. I just wish the base game had a little more content like a story mode or something but it is in Early Access so who knows what the future may hold. Overall as it is now, this game is pretty solid. It's nothing crazy but for the price and the incredible mod support I can definitely recommend this game if you're looking to have a good time.

Early Access Review
Teardown Review (Early Access)
Symphony of Destruction

Pros
+Second to none in level of destructibility
+Looks fantastic for using voxel graphics
+The campaign is fairly good & well thought out with its mission structure

Cons
-Performance is all over the place (But that's to be expected with a game like this lol)

Early Access Wishlist
*More tools for destruction, for example like remote-controlled C4 to detonate from a distance
*Enemy NPCs that try to stop you besides it being an instant fail if you set off an alarm
*Maybe an optional performance mode that disables ray tracing

Conclusion
Remember the Red Faction series? Back in the day those games were mind-blowing and to this day their level of destructibility really hasn't been matched... Till Teardown that is. This game's destructibility is on a whole other level. Pretty much anything in this game can be broken, burned and/or destroyed. Honestly if 2020 has got you down, this game is a great stress relief lol

The game looks fantastic using its own form of RT. It makes everything look so good even if it's using voxel graphics. The physics are also on point, everything feels so convincing. Performance is a bit all over the place but TBH is to be expected, just make sure you have a pretty good PC coming into this.

Overall there's just not much to complain about especially for the price. the only things I kind of wish for are more unique tools to play around with and maybe some blocky NPCs to fill up the levels so it doesn't feel so empty. But the game is in Early Access so who knows what the future will hold. As of right now though, I can definitely recommend this game. It's almost like the video game equivalent of a stress ball. There's a lot of fun to be had here and you'll definitely have a good time.

Half-Life: Alyx Review
Rise & shine miss Vance

Pros
+A fantastic story in a insanely rich & immersive world to explorer in
+Great VR gameplay with lots of action and puzzles to have fun with
+Amazing graphics with so much attention to detail and fantastic sound design
+Very well optimized with lots of VR comfort settings to play the way that works best for you
+Steam Workshop support that adds tons of great user created content

Cons
-Can be a little finicky on WMR headsets sometimes lol

Conclusion
I have to be honest, I never understood why Half-Life was so popular. Was just a little before my time, but now after playing Alyx I now understand why. This game is a masterpiece, no doubt about it. It's hands-down the best VR game ever made. The level of immersion here is insane, by the end of it you'll have really felt like you went on a massive journey across this world. There's just so much to love about Half-Life Alyx & if you have VR this is a must own! I highly recommend it!

DOOM Eternal Review
Rip & Tear... Until it is Done...

Pros
+Addicting fast-paced gameplay
+Great solo campaign with tons of unlockables and secrets to find
+Great graphics with pretty good sound design
+Very well optimized for PC

Cons
-MP is a bit underwhelming compared to its predecessor
-Weird glitch that tanks performance if you use the Steam FPS counter

Conclusion
Doom Eternal is a fantastic single player game with Non-Stop adrenaline pumping action. Its core gameplay Loop is addicting and will have you playing for hours on end trying to beat its story and finding all the collectibles hidden in its world, and even though I find its MP a bit lackluster, there's no doubt that Doom Eternal is still worth every cent of its purchase price for its single player alone. I highly recommend it!!!
