It's hard to write about a masterpiece of this game in a way others haven't, simply because this game has little flaws and is an incredibly enjoyable experience. The story of this game is elevated greatly from the first and explores more of the infamous Aperture Science Laboratories with GLADOS as the villain and being amazing one without a doubt. However my main enjoyment of this game comes from the Co-Op mode. My buddy and I would spend hours trying to solve countless difficult levels provided by the steam workshop, we would laugh, we would argue, and we would realize we are stupid at times for missing easy solutions.

To sum up the review I would say that this game is worth it 100% since the price is great, and sometimes on sale, but the enjoyment from the story or the co-op is just a blast and half. I'm excited to see if we receive sometime similar in the future from Valve, but here is to hoping.

Firstly after reading a lot of the reviews i'd simply like to say, give it some time, its a new free game, keyword free. I've had a blast with this game free or not. Yes there is some polishing this game needs but that's simply it, some tweaking and all, Overwatch wasn't quite perfect at launch, dota isn't always perfect with balancing, there is some unbalancing issues but that will be fixed in due time.

This game is a lot of fun, tons more with friends, me and my buddy have been blasting through people as Bugg and Tosca, myself as Tosca. This game provides a MOBA like experience with a nice "boots on the ground" type of play style. I have been following this game for a few weeks up until release and to be completely honest i'm not at all disapointed. Its chill, it is challenging and its different.

Of course this game needs some tweaking, maybe some nerfs or buffs on some characters such as Tosca's blink, as well as some quality of life changes such as kicking AFK players and voice chat for communication.

I am confident this game will get better and I hope the better half of the community does as well. Overall I'd give this game a 6.5/10 since it is a really fun game, which for the price that it is, provides players a new and enjoyable experience, however is still in need for some improvements all around.

Honestly, this is and has always been a solid game. Loads of content and enjoyable solo or with friends. With workshop and add ons, multiple modes, many maps, and much more content, this game is truly a masterpiece....If only they made a third...Lets hope.

I've played this game pretty much since it came out and still continue to play all the new dlc and updates. All I can say is this game has had some amazing times, and some rough times, however Overkill continues to work on this masterpiece of a co-op heist shooter, which is very joyful to see. This game has it all, small banks, big casinos, to even the white house, there is tons to do, and with a large variety of weapons, melee weapons, masks, skill set ups, and of course achievements (blimey, over 1100..) there is so much to do with this game. The replayablility stands out for sure with Overkill's Payday 2 and I would highly recommend this game for anyone looking to have fun with friends or jam out to Simon Viklund's amazing soundtrack while robbing banks! 9/10
