Good fun. Lots of time required to grind resources etc. Recommend playing with others.

Squad is teamwork based, not for those lone wolf types. It is required that you must communicate with other players via voice comms to achieve anything within the game.

The gameplay is very engaging and exciting when you have a good group of players working together.
There is a great sense of achievement when your team wins, and that is about it since there isn't any player leveling, unlocks or achievements within the game.

There is a learning curve, each faction has different weapons and vehicles but all have similar class types to keep things balanced and easy.

Some of the weapons such as rocket launchers genuinely require some research and testing before you can use them effectively within the game, so do your homework ladies. (plenty of youtube videos that describe in detail how and what to do)
Same goes for vehicles, soldier types and other weapons.

I would class this game as a military simulator, but not as difficult as you might think to learn how to play.

The developer of this game is actively releasing new features, changes and bug fixes.

There is a great community of players on Squad that run their own gameservers. You will often find me playing on the WTH server.
