First off the game rewards those who join squads by only making specialized kits available to those in a squad. Kits like Marksman, Medic or Heavy MG. This makes everyone want to be grouped up to play which completely makes this game unique IMO.

Secondly I've only played this game for 6 hours now but I can say I will buy this game, I have played Arma 3 and its a good game but squad is good for the CQC feel since there is no 30 mins hikes to combat. The reasons I get drawn back to it is the rewards for getting good position and aim over what most other FPS titles put out there. The only problems I found is people who are there to throw by wasting tickets but overrall i rate it a 9/10.

I would still like to see sometype of airbound helis like transport choppers that will mark LZ and bring troops back and fourth from the base.

THIS GAME IS A PIECE OF GARBAGE AND THE PEOPLE THAT MAKE IT DON'T BELONG MAKING GAMES.
Infuriating. Having as most fights feel unrealistic that full force stabing someone in the chest with a spear and they only get knocked 20 points of damage. Blocking is basicly all of melee combat as well. the graphics make me sick. Hit someone with a spear or axe, and they can block with fists, no dmg, staggering you a ridiculous amount of time so they can easily juggle you like this. Every fight devolves eventually into strafing around each other in a circle and trying to time your blocks/pushes/hits with whatever ♥♥♥♥♥♥ lame weapon you have. The weapons feel lame. The world is dull and uninspired map. The maps spawn ins leave you feeling cheated, someone will spawn closer to better supplies and last game i played the nearest building near my spawn in, hadn't even been raided, (first 30 sec. to minute of play), and not a single supply in this huge 3 story building with at least 20 lockers inside, all empty.
Playing online consists of waiting for over 5 min, at a time to spawn into a one round game. Once you die one time, time to either spectate these people kill each other off or qeue up for another 5-10 min. for next ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.

I had a lot of fun playing it, but it is managed by hirez, so the servers are ♥♥♥♥.
Was fine until they added Easy Anti Cheat (EAC) on top of their current anti cheat system, which ♥♥♥♥ed everything.
First off EAC doesnt work, its barely better then PunkBuster, and not by much.
Second, EAC will lose connection to its servers, kicking you from the game, for no reason other than eac is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ program.
When kicked because of eac, you are not allowed to rejoin the game, even if eac regains its connection, and you suffer the standard deserter penalties.
One time is one time to many, and this has been a reoccuring issue

Unturned has tons of potential. In singleplayer, you have so much fun collecting things, but it gets really easy without other people playing with you. However, in multiplayer, EVERY SINGLE PERSON doesn't roleplay or think at all, they just kill. And it ruins the game. Unturned could be fun if the multiplayer community would listen to people and actually communicate with each other instead of killing anyone on sight. I mean, I know that it is part of the game, but seriously, it's RIDICULOUS. You never talk to ANYONE.

Alas, the multiplayer is ruined by five year olds who only play because it's "A BWEND OV MINECWAFT AND CALL OV DOOTY! GIT NSCOOPED 30 REKKTD!" Unturned has so much potential, but the "21 year olds" (oh please,) ruin the game. It's sad, but true, and I have to give it a thumbs down for multiplayer.

If you plan on playing by yourself, however, go right ahead. Singleplayer is a blast.

Note: grate these cheeses yourself and create your own custom blend.
1/2 cup cheddar cheese
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Even though Valve doesn't give a ♥♥♥♥ about this game anymore, except for the 16 people working on this game, it's really great for it's age. With my 2k+ hours between 3 accounts I can tell you guys, that it is worth to invest your time & effort into this game. The community might be a little toxic, but that's nothing compared to other games like LoL, Battlefield, CS:GO and so on. Every mercenary has his own personality. You have the Medic, that ol' psycho. The sniper with his sexy australian accent, the one eyed, scottish, black man, who's always drunk. (Not racist, fam. <3) and so on. If you never played TF2, get some friends and play it with them, it's such a great game with friends. And don't fear to use voice chat ingame, even if you're shy, it always helps your team if you give them more intel. Well, I hope this review actually does something and gets peeps to play this game, so that Valve finally starts giving a ♥♥♥♥ about this game. Oh and, side note. It actually is worth to spend money on it for hats, weapons, keys, etc. Helps the development, you know?
