A gripping story about you (who is a little baby) on your quest for trinkets that give you powers beyond imagination to fight god, who then TAKES your trinkets, becomes god², and turns his newfound strength on you (who is once again, a little baby.)

If you're looking for a game similar (I guess) to binding of Isaac, where the limiter is removed, and have runs where you can barely control your character and frequently crash your game to desktop this is it.
An actual, genuine 10/10

I wasn't so sure about this game until I had a defect run where running out of energy was harder then killing the boss

Insane game that I just realized I forgot to write a review for

This game is awesome, everyone knows
but can we talk about the absolutely perfect sound design for when you kill an enemy in a multiplayer game?
perfect...

I just finished the game, so I'm running pretty hot on emotions right now, I'll try to keep this spoiler free.

Outer wilds does an incredible job of creating a universe that not only can be explored and discovered in great detail, but YEARNS to be understood, every nook and cranny of the game is practically begging to be experienced and looked at.
well... maybe not always looked at, I suppose it depends.

But besides being a masterclass in storytelling and lore building, the game also delves into the philosophy of nihilism, which as a worldview had always been of great interest to me, The game is quick to remind you that every choice you make... is nothing. You will always wake up the same way, and everything ends the same way.

"everything starts the same way, and we all die just the same, so what does it matter what we do in between?"

But I think where this game really shines is exploring the beauty that nihilism is if you look in the right places. Every end is an opportunity to take the next step forward. To be reborn as something just a bit different than you were before, to look back on the person you WERE. not the one you ARE.

"We all die just the same, so I should treasure and value my unique story."

I wonder what you'll do with your 22 minutes

this game is best played in digestible little sessions.
and with a good friend.

Step 1: Die to utter nonsense in 7-3
Step 2: get up from your computer and run outside, and scare all the birds out of your front yard to reestablish a sense of dominance
Step 3: Go back inside, and sit down
Step 4: Die in 1-2 to utter nonsense

Nothing much to say

it's a lovely little game, if you can spare a few bucks, play it, it's... sweet, and sad, and just long enough
