This game is an absolute masterpiece, in every sense of the word. It's probably the best Resident Evil game up to date, almost everything is how it should be. Great atmosphere, slow paced and well thought through gameplay including fixed camera angles and highly limited items.
Puzzles play a main role in this game, with enemies being a constant threat to your survival while you wander through the great Spencer Mansion, probably one of the best game settings ever.
A great soundtrack accompanies the player through the game, further increasing the immersion of the game.
Story-wise this game is nothing new, and it dosen't have to be: We got Chris, Jill, Barry, Rebecca and of course Wesker all in one game, RE fans can't ask for more. The somewhat cheesy voice acting returns as well.

The only two negative points I would like to mention are, firstly, the "new" control scheme. It feels out of place for a RE game, as you have to readjust your thumbstick every time the camera angle switches. So my advice: Stick to tank controls!

Secondly, some backgrounds do look blurry compared to others (Aqua Ring being the best example for this).

Some people also reported slowdown problems during cutscenes and a few other bugs. Can't say much about that, since the game runs butter smooth for me.

Conclusion: One of the best games ever made, Resident Evil HD REMASTER takes the 2002 Gamecube REmake, polishes it and let's us relive the terror of Resident Evil in it's purest form.

9.5/10 from my side.

What can I say, there's nothing like the rush of hunting people down and killing them! I mean my hearts beatin', my hearts beatin' ,my hands are shaking, my hands are shaking, but I'm still shooting! I'm still getting the headshots, it's like boom headshot! Boom headshot! BOOM HEADSHOT!

Excellent story, great characters, tons of abilities and replayability.

My favorite Star Wars game of all time, and probably my favorite RPG in general.

Thanks to the update that came with this DLC, Sam Fisher was finally added to the game.

The last good Call of Duty.

I can remember back in 2007 when I bought this game for the XBOX 360. It is by far the best Modern Warfare game of the series.

Singleplayer starts the whole MW storyline, you play as "Soap", a soldier that just joined the SAS, and Jackson, an U.S. Marine.
You never see their faces neither they talk during the campaign, which makes it much more easy to take the role of these characters. Gampeplay in SP is rather linear, as such I'm not a very big fan of it. However, from a storyline standpoint I really like it, and in my opinion it should have ended with CoD4.

Multiplayer is the core of this game. It is by far the best multiplayer experience the whole series has to offer. Gameplay is much more balanced than in the other MW games, Mod support included, great weapon choices.

Call of Duty died for me after this game.

Genius level design combined with perfectly paced combat, a story told to you through the world without cutscenes, excellent music + sound design and a mod libary bigger than any game's DLC list.

The pinnacle of singleplayer FPS games.
