Very original. If you want to soar through cyberspace like a virtual bird, then this game is for you. The visuals are captivating (if a bit messy at times) and the story is surprisingly layered and powerful. It took me about five and a half hours to get every achievement and experience all of the content.

I'm a bit stingy and risk averse when it comes to buying indie games so I wouldn't have bought it without a 75% off coupon, but certainly at even 33% off I'd have considered it worth the money.

Solid and beautiful little game. It took me about four hours to get 100% completion. Highly recommended for those of any age, though this game was clearly made by young people and for young people.

Like Half-Life 1, Half-Life 2 is a solid classic and a must-play for anyone who wants to be able to claim some knowledge of the great video game classics (HL2 is to games what Tolstoy's Anna Karenina, or, more fittingly, Orwell's 1984 is to books). I'd also recommend it to those who are just looking to have fun.

The graphics are absolutely gorgeous - the original games were obviously remastered with care and attention.

At first I thought that the games didn't feel like the originals, but I checked - they feel almost identical. Jumping, gliding, charging, killing enemies... all of it! The voices, sound effects and the soundtrack have all been updated to better fit the enhanced graphics, and I have no real complaints about these.

The games perform well; everything runs silky smooth without chugging. Only in one very limited area in Spyro 2 did I notice any drops in framerate, but even then it wasn't anything unbearable.

Highly recommended for both kids and adults. This would be a great introduction to Spyro for the young ones of today.

You should get this game if you feel even slightly drawn to it.

The story and the gameplay are linked. As an enforcer browsing the web for rules violations you'll be looking at various websites, downloading things, buying things with Hypnocoin and experiencing the nostalgia and the story, which eventually culminates in solving a mystery about what happened to the internet during the earlier parts of the game. It's all very endearing. The gameplay keeps you occupied well enough and puts you in a position where you can actually impact the web you're patrolling and exploring. People will react to what you do and what the company that you volunteer for does. You'll be rewarded if you pay attention to things and explore thoroughly. I never really got stuck, but I like to go slow and revisit sites and experience all the content.

I think anyone who'd find this sort of thing even remotely interesting would enjoy playing it.

Broken Reality definitely scratches that 90s internet nostalgia itch. It's a walk down memory lane but in addition to walking you're also clicking like on things, slashing down malware with your katana and using your hyperlink tool to grapple onto things and make your way around quicker that way. You'll be doing a few quests and solving a few puzzles, but the gameplay isn't that remarkable (this is basically a walking simulator). The game isn't about the story either. It's about reliving those days when the internet was new and exciting and goofy.

The environments are magical. The characters are funny and light-hearted, if without depth. The music is a great fit. There's plenty of stuff you'd only really understand if you were immersed in that 90s internet culture/pop culture. Still, residues of that era are obviously present in modern internet culture, so a younger player who'd play this sort of thing to begin with would probably still get some of the in-jokes and references and such.

It's a pleasant experience, but not worth its full price(not enough story, let alone deep story, and not enough content in general). I bought it when it was on sale for something like six or eight dollars, and that's the correct price for this game imho.

I'd recommend this game to everyone who feels even slightly drawn towards it. It delivers the aesthetic well. If you want a quick nostalgia-fueled throwaway experience, then this is for you. Especially when the game is on sale.

Dust: An Elysian Tail is visually stunning, the writing is excellent, and the control system's responsive. The world and the characters in it are unique and interesting. Voice acting's versatile and brilliant. Gameplay wise, the difficulty is perfect. The enemies are not invincible, but are by no means are cakewalk either. As in any good combat-heavy game, the combat system is simple, but flexible. I've heard many people say that the bosses in this game are too easy, but I still find them challenging enough. I don't think Dust: An Elysian Tail intended that the bosses be particularly difficult; I think they intended for bosses to be links in the story and chances to show off their brilliant game - and level design. For those who find bosses too easy, or just want a more intense expirience, you can always up the difficulty level. Magic spam is a viable strategy in this game, but in order to pull it off you need to focus 100% of the time. Personally, I don't think it's a problem, nothing in this game is broken or unbeatable. All in all, Dust: An Elysian Tail is a diamond, and a valuable diamond to be precise. This game is in my list of top 10 games ever made, and I would recommend it to anyone who is even somewhat interested in getting it.
