This game is a blast, literally. Stratagems enable you to command the power of rediculous explosives wherever your arm can throw it (including dropping it at your feet).

Grab some friends and get ready for a strong community, hilariously over the top propaganda, and maybe a few (accidental) team kills.

There is 0 pay to win, being a PVE game all DLC content is delivered via warbond (IE: battle pass) that you can easily earn the right to purchase by playing the game and looting super credits. All of them are permenant so you do not lose out on completion of a warbond when you bought it and can come back anytime to unlock older ones for your eventual completed arsenal.

I would highly recommend this game to any who favor starship troopers and 3rd persion co-op shooters.

This game is far better than I had expected it to be given its an early access title.

in summary: Dark fantasy - hero turned unwilling servant of dark masters. Without spoilers this game explores the idea of an individual forced to make consistently terrible and impossible decisions while maintaining their sanity/conscience or giving it up entirely to embrace the new position they now hold. With fantastic writing, you will find yourself seemingly enjoying your captors while simultaneously hating them and sometimes the character will be jarred at the displays of casual cruelty.

Aspects:
writing - I found it was very well done, several decisions with some that make very real impacts on your ability to get the upper hand or experience scenes with little blow-back in consequences. With a simple, yet compelling main story and VERY compelling side plots I found myself engaged consistently and invested.

Art: feast for the eyes - the few CG/animated scenes I found were a surprise in a VN type setup but a welcome one as it worked with the writing of the story. The still frames were also very well done and pleasing to look at!

Choice: Limited sandbox agency 8/10 - I gave this a good score due to the numerous choices you can make in subplots that would enhance your ability to manage the game but also have to relinquish the fact that it is very much still on rails as you have a timeline to meet. It keeps the story going and proves a good deadline with only a small issue. Once you understand exploration you will be able to rapidly breeze through each section of the map well before each timeline is up. I had to constantly skip weeks or burn through my time frame when I accomplished goals "too early". it would be interesting to make events only available through certain weeks to capture an opportunity cost for skipping exploration in favor of an objective.

tutorial 4/10 - unfortunately the game does little to prepare you for the castle management section and you fly by the seat of your pants a bit. I would like to point out the game doesn't show you the glossary/controls to reveal the menu until you discover them by accident. For example: you can click to drag the view of the castle around to find the caravan. But you must do so out on a normally unclickable area for it to move.

H-scenes: 9/10 - I found it extremely simple to avoid most of the scenes I didnt wish to deal with while engaging in many that I found I really enjoyed. I had a save file dedicated to "what if/dumb decisions" for save scumming but found that I rarely had to use it. The game basically plays around making choices that fit the character your interacting with to make them bug off when you dont want them **cough cough andras** or encourage them when your feeling frisky. All in all I found I enjoyed many of the one off and repeatable H events for how they are put in the game.

I highly recommend giving this game a try, if your the shy type I would recommend privacy because you will get someone walking in on you making the decision to get frisky with a spider. And the judgement that follows when you knowingly accept it. Then its either awkward explanation time or equally awkward over the shoulder viewing because they are into it and now you have questions. Don't do that, be a proper otaku and lock the door.

This is one of those games that has a great sense of humor and really succeeds at what it sets out to do.

Its basically a virtual novel that has a bullet hell space shooter thats actually quite entertaining, Turn based ground combat (needs some tweaks to be great), and oh yeah, fully rendered high quality 3d gifs for a sex gallery.

tack on a rather self deprecating sense of humor and MANY ♥♥♥♥ jokes you got yourself a good time.

10/10 would bone again.

This game is a masochists addiction, you will get beaten (beyond normal mode for sure) curse your luck. then immediatley go for another round. Dev's made some really great improvements to the gameplay and tech upgrades.

its metal slug meets base building, resource management and defensive survival with a metro redux feel.

I give you a challenge to those brave enough. win serious mode without losing any followers!

This game is a horror masochists wet, dark, scary dream. Its dark, clostrophobic, and requires good teamwork to even make it out of the beginning of levels. if you are prepared to die, alot but go back and challenge yourself then this is definitley the game for you.

Oh my... where to start with this game. First off Id like to say that I have read plenty of VN's both from steam and off the platform. I have seen the good, the bad, and the excuse to make a porno versions of VN's. That being said, through all of the stories ive read through, writing that I have critisized and had to re-read , and Listening to my fair share of "interesting" voice acting I have come to one conclusion. This VN is HANDS DOWN the BEST Visual novel I have EVER read/played. The Story itself gripped the MC with intelligent writing, great pop culture refrences (hello ceonardo dilaprio), plenty of moments of teenage hilarity that caught me with my pants down and gave me a good laugh, and in tandem with brillant voice acting it pulled at my heartstrings in both the sad and the warm fuzzy moments. you would look at this game showcasing different girls routes like its a dating sim and it kinda is, however it revolves around the main characters story and the relationships that the player can CHOOSE to develop or not makes it SOOO much better. Now that ive ranted I want to break down what makes this game so good.


First: writing and plotline
Im very impressed with the quality of storytelling in ACE and through my reads the writing was always clear and there were no mispellings or incorrect uses of the english language during any of the parts 1-4. The story made me laugh, feel like a badass during the mech fights, feel warm and fuzzy during the moments you spend with the S.O you have chosen and with the family members that surround the MC throughout the game.

writing gets a 10/10 for adding the choice "swiggity swoogity, im comin for that booty" <-- seems perverted? nope, it makes you laugh and allows the MC to display a more animated personality than whats usually thrown at you.

2nd Visuals and music:
first off the character sprites are all well detailed and each with their own clear persona defined in how they look and act. I found each supporting character to be in sync with how the devs made them look and even when that transferred to how each characters gear was visually designed made it that much more in sync. The music was a nice add on to the game that never got in the way of the gameplay or voice acting. It pumped you up during action scenes, made emotions come out more in both sad and happy moments and overall was just great to listen too.

3rd isnt something thats directly part of the game but rather focuses on the people behind it. While this game was in early access the devs of this game set out to put it together in parts of 1-4. I joined in the game when they had just added part 3 a day after I had bought it. going through the news and seeing the release of part 4 I was very happy that these devs were constantly communicating with players through feedback and were very timely with content releases. Oh and another thing about each release, these guys didnt charge any more money for each new release of content! you buy it at the beginning for the reduced price and you get the full package the second it comes out. This kind of loyalty reward is something that most devs overlook or try to exploit in players who want their games so Im just giving a shoutout to the guys at pixelfade for doing it right!

If you have doubts about this game or wether or not Its truely worth your money Im here to say that you need to stop doubting and just jump in already, your going to love the ride!

So my thoughts on this. for an early access game this has HUGE amounts of potential and the current version delivers a great experience thats had me addicted for the past few days now. the only thing that would keep me from rating this a 9 or 10 /10 would be the glitches (floors not displaying), balance issue with being able to keep up with the networks , slightly askew affection system, and a few bugs that allow you to exploit the game fairly easily hold it back. dont get me wrong now though, because despite all of that ive enjoyed this game immensly and i cant wait to see what it is when its complete.

devs, your doing good work. I would focus a ton of work around the core of the game making sure its not breaking before you continue to add more stuff. the more you add while the current version is broken the harder it will be to fix later.

this game is a fun arcade game thats more realistic than most others, with you being able to control multiple charecters ( the only exception being lilly the radio operator) and expiriment with multiple survivor buildouts. of course getting that one favorite charecter just right to be the ultimate badass is always fun but then what if you wanted a ninja with a sword getting in and out of the area without a sound? its all your choice. i highly reccomend this game to anyone who enjoys survivor games.
