Wolfenstein the new colossus plays a lot better than it's predecessors, no mods required to get the game running smoothly and no random crashes (which I had experienced in the other games)

The visuals are strikingParticularly loved the dogriding scene, the dark sewers the fire oooh just beautiful to see.
but the game has some flaws as most of the game feels like it's one giant cutscene you've got your missions that we're used to but the cutscenes just overshadow the game. I was able to cut my second playthrough by almost 2 hours because I was skipping them. the characters aren't so great either not a fan of grace and spesh (or something I found him forgettable) but I'm not going to go into that as other people have talked about it A LOT.

But overall the game runs silky smooth has satisfying gunplay and locations and will give you a good chuckle every once in a while.

Wolfenstein the new order is an absolute console port if you have a high refresh rate (above 60hz) you will need mods to crank the game up to your desired fps without the physics going haywire.

But overall the gameplay and story is amazing, if you're the type to just go in rushing with a machinegun and mow some enemies down or the type that likes to bust it's kneecaps by crouching through the whole game with a pistol that has a silencer. this game has something for you.

I am going to point out 3 mayor flaws I personally found for this game.
1. It's an absolute console port if you have a high refresh rate (above 60hz) you will need mods to crank the game up to your desired fps without the physics going haywire.
2. The first level is extremely stealth based to the point it might take you a couple of tries.
3.The zombies in the game will get annoying while smacking you around where you can get disorientated because they move your mouse

But overall it's such a good game. loved it for it's story. a great prequel and buildup to the events of wolfenstein the new order and enjoyable as hell. DO BUY THIS GAME

So after waiting over a year to pick it up again, I've finished the game lets start out with the bad because it aint much. I've still had some glitches and some performance drops but it got A LOT better in the year I haven't played. the mayor glitches that stopped me from playing last year have been resolved. some are still there but it feels more like the CP that should've launched back in 2020.

The game is just great. I loved the characters, I loved the gunplay, the story etc.

All I can say is ok Chooms time to come back.

"Trust me I've played quite a bit of the game and I'm enjoying it a lot. but the glitches and performance give it a big fat no for me right now. This game has memory leaks that cause your fps to drop during long sessions, random fall damage bugs where you get slammed to the ground when hitting the curb wrong or build up speed while standing on a ledge of a building suddenly dropping you to the ground at the speed of light, this happens at least 3/4 times per play session for me....

I love night city's atmosphere but the glitches and the bad NPC AI just mess it up for me. performance wise it's a NO as well even after the hotfixes. I can't run the game on high settings nor turn on rtx while I have a Ryzen 7 3700x and a RTX3090.

I hope to be able to change my review after a while and I will be putting down this game for the foreseeable future. Later Choombas I hope to return soon."

Preston in the pillory in the middle of the Castle money well spend.

it adds some extra's and the cages are amazing and you have a new way to get rid of rads which make building settlements a more attractive activity to do. But it isn't that big for a dlc so the pricetag fits just right overal i give it a 8/10 for a dlc this price.
