Early Access Review
A more polished version of PUBG that builds upon the Battle Royal genre with more interesting mechanics (like mobility devices that you start out with like the snowboard or glider to get around the "walking simulator" criticism) and quality of life features (attachments automatically swap to your newly equipped weapon, being able to toggle between 2 different scopes per weapon). And it's free to play.

1) Game frequently crashes.
2) Impossible to play with friends without someone disconnecting.
3) Unintuitive UI
4) Clunky and frustrating combat controls on keyboard and mouse.

Do not buy this game until they at least fix the first two issues, and use a controller if you have one.

EDIT: I have been able to stop the crashes completely after switching my video settings from fullscreen to borderless fullscreen, at the expense of my framerate. I used to get a smooth 60 FPS, now I get some stutters. That being said, my game hasn't crashed once since this change in settings, and while it is not the ideal fix, it's better than losing all my progress due to a game crash. The game definitely needs some polishing in this regard. Players dropping from online sessions is still rampant, really kills my desire to play this game since the whole point of me purchasing this game was to play with friends. Very disappointing.

If you didn't already get this game from the Origin Humble Bundle, DO IT! I've never played such a great game that was based around a single game mechanic; jumping (parkour). The story, while not that deep, is quite enjoyable. The intense moments in this game actually give you a sense of urgency, move your аss or die. It really makes you think on your feet. The art style is also absolutely beautiful. Do yourself a favor and play this game.
