So far me and a buddy are really enjoying it.

Has done more for the Starship Troopers brand for a non-branded Starship Troopers game than any of the Starship Trooper sequels or branded games have done for its entire franchise.

I have played Koei's Romance of the Three Kingdoms series for nigh on twenty-five years, and though it is not part of Koei's franchise I do feel that this game is the pinnacle as well as what that franchise ought to have aspired to be with the melding of empire management and real-time battlefield command strategy. This game is easily one of my favorite games in those past twenty-five years, and with the Reign of Blood DLC for the gory battlefield visuals and Eight Princes DLC offering enough variety from the vanilla game I keep coming back to it again and again. Anyone who grew up doing the same will likely be drawn to this game and its DLC as well.

I first played this game through to completion on the PS3, and after playing this on the PC on "max" video settings on 1080p, it shines. Max Payne 3 still holds up after five years in terms of replayability, at least for its single-player due to its gritty noire story set in the favelas of Sao Paolo, Brazil and its sharp attention to detail. Its a bullet opera in the most expressive sense of that term. Occasionally, you might find some folks to duke it out with on multiplayer. Consider picking this game up for sale the next time it comes up.

In my humble opinion the best and my favorite free multiplayer game right now. Its not pay-to-play, and I've been playing for nearly two years and still haven't spent one dollar on any of its premium content and still racked up plenty of kills. Highly recommend!

As much as I want to love to recommend this game, I cannot in good conscience due to a display driver bug that is triggered during dice poker games. I've had to dial down my graphics settings to its most basic values so that the bug wouldn't trigger a fault interruption that CAUSES MY PC TO RESET ITSELF. It's easy to avoid as long as you don't play dice poker, but I couldn't get my PC to keep from resetting during the dice game in the prison despite dialing down the graphic settings, making the chapter impassable, and the rest of the game unplayable!

This has not been resolved through any of the latest patches and updates, and I cannot find any other resolutions to this bug anywhere on the internet or various forums. It is with sincere regret I must not recommend this game, as I truly loved the script of the story and the various interactions with NPC's are well-written.

A damn good roguelike that is a parody of other roguelikes and contemporary pop and fantasy culture as well. Chock full of numerous film, fantasy and video game references, it also has incredibly deep gameplay; with many playstyles to choose from and a incredibly complex crafting mechanic. The modding community is also busy with this game; and there are lots of great and hilarious mods that are fun to play. A great game at a great value with lots of replayability.
