spell and weapon variety is nuts and some weapons can even be evolved once or twice, if this wasn't early access I'd recommend it to everyone right the ♥♥♥♥ now, but even in its un-finished state its a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ blast

also quickstep stacks and the health cost regenerates so if you spam it at the right rate you can go fast enough to get from one end of the largest map to the other in a second or two and I adore it, if its a bug never ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fix it please

Kinda disappointed at the lack of visual character customization and the lack of a female character model

as a lesbian duo our immersion is very slightly broken when we look at each other only to see a guy staring back, but the combat is worth the minor inconvenience and we can just toss on full face helms to ignore gender entirely so game's still like a 9.9/10 in my book

10/10 Best way to learn horrible ♥♥♥♥ to say in other languages

100 hours in I'm still having a blast, I've gotten every achievement and cleared the prophecies list and I still have motivation to go at this game more, it's incredibly engaging, every weapon has a unique feel and with the crazy amount of boon combinations, just about every run is nuts

yeah, it's a pretty good time. You kick the ever living ♥♥♥♥ out of Dragons and giant monsters, and look ever more awesome while doing it. the learning curve for world is the easiest it's ever been.

Every weapon offers an incredibly different experience and you have 14 to choose from and swap between on a whim.
The gameplay is always satisfying and these games have been around since 2004.
They're one of the top franchises in japan for a reason.

as an old world veteran I recommend use of a controller for the best comfort, but the kb/m setup isn't bad if you rebind ♥♥♥♥,

If you're ever confused there's a massive community of people making tutorials and videos to help you out, however, I don't recommend asking questions in the steam forums as for the first time since I picked up the games an age and a half ago, I've finally found a section of the community that isn't quite informed or courteous to each other and it's rather jarring.

but outside the steam forums the community is always full of kind and helpful people who will explain anything you're confused about.

World is definitely a 9/10 for me and a must buy for anyone new to the series.
delete the handler and the story they forced in to reach a larger audience and this game is an easy 10
