Possibly the worst walking simulator even though they were the ones coining the genre - not worth installing even if you get it for free. 12 hours of walking on a game created/inspired by a half-life 2 mod which they have not really improved. This passion project took years to complete but has not satisfied me for the time I have invested in the game. The only reason I have 12 hours is the simulator is because I really wanted to understand the game and have all achievements completed. Sitting through directors comment was torture.

Visuals: 2/5 - the general look of the game is actually pretty neat. There was so much potential for an actual game, interaction, etc. I created a macro so I didn't have to hold "W" to get through it.

Music: 3/5 - stand alone, the music is great. I would listen to it as a low-fi vibe. Beautiful in some parts and haunting at others.

and that's about all I can rate. Nothing else about the game stands out. You walk for 4 chapters, see images of a past life before a car accident on what I assume is a pregnant lady or someone with small children who gets hit by a drunk driver and their journey through what I have to guess is purgatory until the ghost (in this case Esther) realizes they are dead and the journey through the island helps them move on. It's kind of triggering for those who might have lost folks to drunk driving, loss of a child prematurely, etc. Very subtle if you are not paying attention.

I love this game! Played 7 playthroughs and I want to play again!
