If the game seems appealling to you, you'll probably have a good time with it. If not, don't worry, there are other games. Keep in mind that there are mods, which can extend the life of this game beyond normal limits.

The game runs at 22 fps, despite great hardware. Look in the disscussions if you don't believe me. The developer(s) don't seem to be addressing this, either. As someone said that's "not even enough to be cinimatic".

Not even worth 19 cents, USD. Do not buy until they fix it.

UPDATE: The developers have payed attention, and have released an update to reduce the obtuse-ness of some puzzles. I don't know the details, but you can probably safely ignore the corrosponding cons in my review.

+Good, portal-themed music
+Good voice acting
+Difficult levels, stressing new ways of thinking with portals
+Interesting story

-Somewhat dissatisfying ending (good, but not as much as I'd have liked)
-Opening and closing cutscenes are fairly long (I didn't mind much, but for some people it might be annoying, especially if you want the whole story)
-Some questionable design choices (levels can be obtuse sometimes, and the objective may be hiding in plain sight.)

I experienced a drop in fps at the end, after playing the rest without dropping. It made the final puzzles less fun than they could have been. I have a FX-8350 at 4.6GHz and an R9 290, so with a Portal 2 mod, anything below 60 is a sign of bad level design. I suspect it was an engine limitation, not a hardware limitation, that caused the dips, occasionally below 30.

The music was very good, and while more present than normal portal music, it fit just fine. It, along with the voice acting, was superb, especially for a free mod.

Levels were difficult. I resorted to looking up the solutions a couple of times and I regret it. Usually the solution seems to be something you (I) would not have thought of. Think outside the portal, as it were. Use ALL the tools at your disposal.

Occasionally, the goal of a level / puzzle / area was unclear, which leads to frustration. I want to be able to know where I am supposed to go, so that I may try to get there. Often it is hiding in plain sight. Sometimes it truely is unexpected and unforseeable. I think more BETA testing would have been a good idea. Though, for a free mod, amazing nonetheless.

SUMMARY: If you liked Portal 2 but want more, harder puzzles, play it. It's well worth the time, and though it can be difficult, even frustrating, it's never impossible. It is extremely good quality, if you are willing to look over a few minor shortcomings.

I absolutly recommend this game, just not for full price (currently $15 USD), because there's not that much content. I bought it on deep sale. Not too much re-playability, just something to have some fun with sometimes. The singleplayer is good, but I'd recommend gettings some friends up with it. Local co-op is fine if that's an option. Only uses 6 buttons. Music is fantastic, and the tension is tactile. It's very well balanced and there's no leveling or any sort of nonsense. The only thing that determines how good you are is how good you actually are.

Play it. It's free and it only asks 10 minutes of your time, max. The ending is very rewarding.

Why have you not played portal yet. You should. Everyone should. Blanket statements are usually a bad idea, but not this one. Everyone should play this game.
